The high lift pallet truck can be hired from HHS, you could maybe hire one first to see if it was suitable ?? Just a thought , lol Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk That is a great idea. Could use it with my old chest and see how I go.  |

Just need to get my begging bowl out now! LOL getting very excited! I already have an old chest of drawers in my bedroom earmarked as my first project. Once I get into the swing of it, I have decided to trawl eBay for things to rejuvenate and sell but won't ever spend more than £10 on anything. The only problem I can see with this one is that when closed it is 210mm (about 8 inches) high which probable means it won't slide under a chest of drawers Pah!  didn't think of that. Back to google ..... |

Could you find someone to.build you a platform to put the stuff on ? If you could then you could , have it made so it's the right working hight for you. Good luck with your new hobby I wish! Don't know anyone who would remotely know how to create one. |

Steve has stumbled on a problem that's not easily solved it seems. All the ones I am coming up with online don't slide under things low enough for some furniture items I would come across. In fact they wouldn't slide under my chest of drawers. |

A lifting pallet truck seems a bit over kill. These scissor lift tables are pretty good-looking www.liftruck.co.uk/scissor-tables-mobile-ergo.htmlFully lowered they are 22cm, I can build you platforms for the table to slide under, but you'd need to get someone to put the furniture on the platforms. It may be worth you popping into a hire shop to have a look at how easy they are to operate, the bigger the hire shop the bigger the selection. Go and have a play before you decide to rent/buy.
