Hi all, just worked out how much i have saved from Smoking from day one to today and if i actaully had the cash in my hand i could get on a plane and go just about anywhere i want I use to spend £6.50 a packet and used 2 packets a day = £13.00 i quit on dec 3rd 2012 = 531 days todate Savings = £6,903 OMG no wonder my son love me not smoking anymore he went to america week before xmas and learnt to drive from me quiting as with most people i can not say where all that money has gone but i haven't spent more than £300 on vaping but dont worry as alls well this end. if this helps show someone thinking about quitting how easy it can be and the rewards from it then this post has done its job. final note - Good Luck All Newbies for your continued success for even considering quiting the stinkies

Sadly, I have saved nothing at all. Happily, I have not been smoking for 20 months. it's a good deal....

I have a rough estimate and it's around £600 saved so far, as I would have spent around £1,000 by now in rollies.
Costs in washing powder and cleaning everywhere to get rid of the smell of fags aren't included.

I used to smoke rollies too @munkymunky - got them fairly cheap from Austria - but still - and all the tobacco crumbs everywhere - I did not smoke inside - but still the crumbs where everywhere - at least atties and liquids and bottles and tweezers and screw drivers and cables and batteries and ...... we can neatly stack away in a drawer

For most people the saving of there health sho u or be there top saving. Then money. How much money have I saved ? It's three weeks on Tuesday. To date I've not saved anything I have I think spent more. But long term as the months pass there will be a saving.

Thank you ripple27 i used to bring all my fags back from Greece when i went on hols so the savings are more than the cost would have been but i always put £20 each week away for what i would have spent on fags, i have bought lots of stuff associated with vaping & as i mix for 4 others besides myself have too many concentrates lol also i have 15 x 100ml bottles of nicotine base in the freezer for when the legislation comes into effect so we will be ok for a couple of years & still i manage to save. Then theres the health benefits too so its a win win situation.

After 1yr & 9months, I think the health benefits are the best saving, my lungs feel fantastic. Plus, not smoking means I now have the spare dosh to pay for a gardener!
