Hello everyone I was a member here many many moons ago , but i failed with giving up the cigs in the end , so left vaping , but just started to think about trying yet again , and wondered if anything major has changed in those intervening years ? My main objective is to at least cut out all the unnecessary smokes , so to get down to 5/6 a day ! I never did really find a liquid that gave a great tobacco smoke , does one exist now ? , ive seen some reviews of natural extracted tobacco ejuice , but havent seen a listing for the UK ? Also what is the shelf life of eliquid ? im assuming all my old stuff in the loft is past it ! , im trying to remember how long ago it was 3/4/5 years ? im to old to remember LOL Many thanks Brynn

Everyone seems to look for that tobacco flavour thing but in reality cigs taste flippin awful lol, I was the same too. I vape a caramel blend all day now and toffee in the drippers and love it but I never thought I would.
Not sure on shelf life.
As for the cig/vaping thing inn general, any vaping you do instead of smoking is a good thing whether you completely stop or not, I've gone from smoking over 50 a day down to maybe 10 at most and feel brilliant for it. Sure I still smoke a few but who cares.
Welcome in/back

Brynn mrlimbo! Welcome back, it's so good to see you again. I did wonder how you were getting on . . . I'd be inclined to ditch those eliquids, lofts can be rather warm places for storing something like them and the flavour/nicotine could have degraded in that time.. So much has changed since you've been away in the terms of equipment, we have some great gear now - not overly expensive that could be worth investing in. I remember you trying to find that elusive tobacco flavour, can't help much there as I don't use any baccy flavours now.

hi and welcome back mrlimbo good on you to give vaping another go - I did this year and never look back - most of all it's import that you want to - then you can do it well if the old liquids are over 3 years old I would follow Perpetua s advice and ditch them - I don't vape tobacco anymore - but what kind of tobacco are you after ? - golden Virginia or more something softer - manyx here like the tobacco of joosejuice

mrlimbo - welcome back, I'm afraid I'm a newbie compared to you, but have been off tobacco for 18 months completely and feel so much better for it. I'm sure you will notice some radical changes in the type and quality of equipment available now, and branch out with your taste in juice, there are some lovely vapes around now which don't taste anything like horrible ol' baccie!!

Hi and back. Newbie here compared to you. I'm sure you will find a lot has changed since you last vaped. There's some really good gear out there now and you have have to spend huge amounts of money to get a good vape. There are also some very nice juices about. As for tobacco tasting ones. The few I've tried don't taste anything like the real things. I like vape them but I personally like the sweet ones now. Ones like anised. Everyone has there own likes and you will not found they all do it for. You. But have a play about with different ones. Good luck and I will see you on the forums

mrlimboI think general consensus is around a couple of years for juice stored in a cool dark place, so would recommend binning the juice you have. As for kit, what were you using before? Kit, particularly tanks, have come on in leaps and bounds in the 6 short months I have been vaping, so I can only imagine there's a whole new world of shiny gear for you to explore!

..hahah, dont knock the screwdriver, i'm very fond of them Tease-smiley
Welcome back Brynn!!!
As far as vaping gear goes, yes the off the shelf stuff has come on leaps and bounds. As for finding a juice you like....it'll probably still be a slight enigma? I have 6 I like and alternate throughout the day, am happy to find some palatable stuff but as for one single juice? no.
But I recon that's one of the bonuses to vaping over smoking! (besides my better health and wallet)

Having smoked golden virginia for nearly 40 years it took me a while to find the right liquid. If your going to give it another go I can recommend this one. truevape.co.uk/virginia-flue-cured-10ml-sampler.html
