No pen IMO but I can't blame the ref for giving it. Lovren did pull him but only slightly and as the law of the game states then its a pen. just the inconsistencies of the game I hate but without them we would hardly ever have any debate

So disappointing... where were all the camera shots of those beautiful Brazilian women in the crowd we've seen in the past? Might as well have been at Rochdale (no offence intended).

Oh, the football... again nothing to get excited, or worried about, quite scrappy I thought. At least I won my 'overs' bet to offset my two losing horses. Hopefully it will improve, and probably the right result to stop anymore protests.

I had small bets (all £5 or under, was cautious with this one) on Croatia to score first, Brazil to win with both teams to score, Brazil to win (placed at 0-1) and 2nd Brazil goal before 80. A nice £30 profit.

Hopefully I'll have a good World Cup regardless of what England do!

A shame I work a late shift and don't normally get home until gone 11. I forgot to record tonight's match/any highlights ITV/BBC had on, but I'll be relying on 5Live for the early KOs.

Time for an earlyish night, no friendlies to target and I'm not even going to look at any South American matches that might be on.

I've spent the last month trying to build a decent kitty up for the WC and turned £50 into £230 to play with. If all goes to plan Bet 365 will hate me in a month or so

Correct scores are a bit of fun and ok for little bets, but not where the real money is. Hopefully someone will cop an absolute hammering before too long, a team scoring 4+ goals is always good for bookie bashing!

when my brother was alive he used to bet 2-2 every match in the world cup the bookies always paid 16/1 for a 2-2 and there is normally 4 or 5 2-2s in a world cup he never lost but he never made a fortune just watch out for it and see it always works
just keep an eye on it up to now my bro would have been if it was £1 a match £1 down wait and watch how this turns round I am amazed every tournament the first will come soon

Still, I'm £56 up from two days and I'll have four matches to go at tomorrow. Or three and England v Italy that I probably won't touch.
