Good Luck with that, paypal are the biggest shower of shit there ever was. a couple of years ago paypal permanently closed my account for selling adult material ( shocker I know but I hadn't sold anything ), I got in touch with them & explained I had never sold adult material & in fact had not sold anything at all in the last 6 months & I asked them to point out what items they were referring to. Paypals response (on several occasions) was "our decision is final & cannot be appealed " & that was it no proof shown & no paypal account, now here is the funny bit I still have a account (though cannot send or receive money etc ) & still receive emails asking me to update card details etc BUT paypal refuse to let me close account ??? Just Google paypal closed my account, thousands with similar stories. Jeeze that's bad. I receive money into my Paypal account every month for royalties earned so I wouldn't want them to do anything like that to my account. I'd be stuffed Is it possible to have two accounts? Might be worth splitting the risk if can? Though chances of it happening are probably slim.

The behavour of Paypal is absolutely shocking. I never realised they were such dipshits. Next time I get the option to pay by Payfail or bank account it's straight to the bank account!

This is my recently received reply from Fasttech We are very sorry for the long waiting. We are told that the Malaysia post had accepted our claim on 7/19 about two weeks after we send the inquiry to them. So we have to wait on about the 9/19 to get a feed back from the post office. We know that it is a long time to wait. But we really have no choice but keep waiting.
If it is confirmed lost, we will definitely refund or reship for you. We really appreciate your understanding and patience.
I have until the 22nd of July, to escalate my PayPal dispute into a claim.

pebblesI am in exactly the same position, I have until 21st July to escalate to a claim. Malaysia Post have sent both my parcels by surface mail on 13th June (ordered 23rd May) FT will not refund, they have offered a 20% discount - if Paypal disputes/claims are withdrawn. also FT state 1 or 2 months for arrival , but MP state from 6 to 16 weeks. Do i escalate to a claim or not? one parcel contained batteries , the other did not??

I escalated my claim on Wednesday evening. Had enough of it all. Mine hasn't even left Asia, this is my tracking data now: 2014-07-12 12:08, Item sent to SINGAPORE SURFACE, MPC PMIH (KLIA) 2014-06-09 20:54, Item forwarded to carrier/agent, MPC PMIH (KLIA) 2014-06-05 11:29, Item posted over the counter, MPC PMIH (KLIA) 2014-05-22 11:10, Dispatch Pre-Alert 22/05/2014, In Transit No mention of the parcel being sent to Spain, it's gone from Malaysia to Singapore We all know that Singapore post doesn't allow batteries so there's no way the parcel is going to be sent to me by Singapore post - fact

I was told that one of my parcels has been shipped air mail, don't know about the other one. I have emailed Malaysia post to see if they can shed any light, but not holding out much hope for a reply before my time is up. Both my parcels however did contain batteries and charger.

pebbles if you escalate your claim you can still close down the claim if there is a satisfactory outcome with FT. What you can't do is re-open the claim once you've closed it. Paypal give FT 20 or 21 days to reply to an escalated claim so that's still another 3 weeks once you have escalated your claim. I didn't realise that until I escalated mine on Wednesday. Edit mike weaver93 the above info might interest you as well

PayPay found in FT's favour in the two disputes I opened with them for non delivery as the seller had proof of postage. FT refunded me a few weeks later it's just takes ages.

Someone on the FT forum has had their money refunded by Paypal, so we can only see what they decide on our own individual cases.

At that time others were getting PP refunds, it was one of the big shipping cock ups where they posted if not in traking after 8 weeks we will refund you on their forum. Mine was posted the day before that period and I put lots of detail and text form posts that supported my claim in it. Maybe you need a but of luck with who at PP assess your claim or maybe I made a poor job of it. I really wanted to show that although it was a PITA and took over 80 days IIRC I did get my money back from FT. Good luck with your shipments ppl.

Thanks guys for all your comments, I've had enough of waiting. judging by Malaysia Post it could be 16th October if it eventually arrives here.
Malaysia Post shouldve returned all FT parcels to FT, then they shouldve re-shipped by a different carrier or refunded.
The 3 week window after escalating, gives a further chance for the parcel to arrive, its just not acceptable.

I've just had an email from Paypal who say they are now investigating my claim. Apparently they asked FT for the tracking number which FT supplied to them. I supplied Paypal with the tracking number when I escalated the claim but I suppose they had to make sure with FT that it was the correct one. At least, so far, they haven't said they're not investigating the claim and just thrown it out. I'll keep you updated
