I also ordered mine on the same date as you, 15 May, shipped 19 May by FT, mine hasn't ever left Asia.

I haven't mentioned any e-cig stuff neither to Paypal, nor batteries, in fact I haven't even said what was in my order at all. Just that I haven't received it and it hasn't left Asia after all these weeks bla bla bla.

I raised a number of tickets with FT and all they kept telling me was to wait

Mine was sent to Singapore via Malaysia Post and we know Singapore don't send external batteries

Well I still haven't received mine, got the same blurb from fasttech, however I did escalate my PayPal dispute into a claim and am now just awaiting the outcome. You must have just been the lucky one DiscoDes.

i updated my open tickets with a question about gift certificates and got this:

As many of you are aware of, Malaysia post changed some of FastTech's shipped packages from registered airmail to registered surface mail, without notifying us in advance and requesting for our (and customer's) consent.

Malaysia post confirmed to us that your package is unfortunately sent to destination via surface mail. You can check the transit time via this link: www.pos.com.my/pos/appl/general_mail_int_rate.asp. The transit time for this package is 6~16 weeks counted from the date Malaysia post has received this package.

We apologize for this unfortunate decision that Malaysia Post did. FastTech is both upset by the single sided change and disappointed in the way our shipping partners have followed up on the matter.

As a way to apologize to our customers, you will receive a credit that is equivalent to 20% of this package amount, with a maximum limit of $50.00 credit per order. The credit (in the form of gift cards) will be issued mid-August and you will see the credit in your FastTech account > gift certificates, as well as an e-mail notifying you about this.

We wait to issue the gift certificate in mid August in the purpose of getting a more complete surface mail package list from Malaysia post.

zedsdead mine hasn't even left Asia. Malaysia Post sent it over to Singapore, so mine hasn't even been shipped (literally by boat) out to me.

Well, looks like they've finally put it on a boat today, 2 months after getting it and now they decide to send it by boat, another 6-16 weeks if me luck's in

Probably will go into that black hole everyone else has been talking about - you just gotta laugh

Edit: If it ever gets to Madrid in Spain it will take another 7-10 days to get to the island. But if they decide to ship it from Spain I might get it sometime in 2015

My batteries arrived today. Ordered 22nd of May, shown arriving Langley June 18th, then something about dangerous goods act and then showing in Malaysia. My guess is they went surface mail and the the Langley date was just automatically generated as the expected date if sent air mail.

Any joy Pebbles? Yours were contemporary with mine.
