Well, just checked the tracking on my latest order from FT and found the following: 2014-05-22 11:10, Dispatch Pre-Alert 22/05/2014, In Transit 2014-06-05 11:29, Item posted over the counter, MPC PMIH (KLIA) 2014-06-09 20:54, Item put on hold due to Dangerous Good, MPC PMIH (KLIA) Spanish Postal service comes back as "Accepted" So, since the 22 May I've been thinking the package is on it's way as it has been reporting "In Transit", only to find out it hadn't even left China I stopped checking it once I thought it was on its way, till today then found those messages above. Ok, I know the battery situation has recently changed and they're no longer accepting packages with batteries (and my order does contain batteries) but I thought my parcel was well on it's way BEFORE they stopped accepting batteries in parcels. Ok rant over with - nothing I can do about it except wait for package to go back to FT and get a refund - blasted nuisance

Looks like Malaysia air port security (KLIA), can't blame them after recent tradition. I would open a ticket on FT if I were you toots. E: tradition should have been tragedy , smell checkers are not dyslexic proof

Just opened a support ticket Never had this happen before so don't know the procedure. I thought I would have to wait for the package to be returned to FT, but I suppose opening up a support ticket now is better than waiting for it to arrive back to them and then starting the ball rolling. At least they will be prepared for the return package.

It's easy, but it can take a couple of days each time they reply, don't add to the ticket other than responding to their posts or you go to the back of the queue and don't close the ticket until you have the goods or a refund. You may lose a little on currency conversion if you get a refund. Good luck.

I won't lose anything from a refund with currency conversions as I get paid in dollars for the work I do direct to my paypal account and obviously pay FT in dollars, so dollars to me are just fine & dandy

Might be worth also keeping an eye on your PP deadline toots, as your back up plan . . . you don't have to escalate it to a claim immediately, it's up to 20 days after * I think * of opening a case that you have to do that. Just incase your parcel takes a while to be returned/processed - don't close that either if you do, as you can't open a case at a later date on the same transaction if you have.

I must have drunk too much, I can normally tell the difference between a T and a F. I always think of them an SnailTech, not original picked it up somewhere on the web.
