So I vaped the spinner for less than 30 mins last night, have vaped it off and on this morning since about 7am and the blue light has just come on. Going to contact the vendor and see what he says.

Vendor has offered to send me a replacement out in the post today, will leave appropriate feedback for them here once it's received, at the moment though I have to say I have been impressed by how quickly they have dealt with my problem.

I bought 2 of the new type Spinners, 3 wall chargers and usb leads. It had made no difference whatever to me, the Spinners can take 4-6hrs to charge and I am lucky if I get 4 hrs vape from them. These were all bought from a popular vendor on here. Purchased in May this year, not a happy bunny.

I was really hoping that I'd just got a dud one and that the replacement wouldn't have the same problem.

Mine takes 4 - 6 hours to charge and the light changes from white to blue fairly quickly but usually last me a day until it's orange then dead! Is this not how it should work? It's on charge from dead now, so I'll vape with it exclusively until it does again and time it properly. I have found though that when I first plug it in to charge it goes to green after about half and hour, but then I turn it off, wait a minute then turn it on again then it goes into full charging cycle, taking 4+ hours. Again, is this normal?

snow sleedale Phoenix .Sorry to hear you are all having problems. We know snow bought a genuine one, so perhaps there has been a faulty batch. Phoenix . where did you buy yours from? There is a pattern for charging spinners ( the lights ) but I do not know if it applies to v2, I will find it.

I have the V2 spinner and a Smok sidewinder and a Smok Aro twist I use the same charger and plug on all 3 when one dies it gets left till the next one dies then gets put on charge then when the third one dies I use the first one I charged...so on and so on. So basically mine get left to settle before and after a charge so far so good and no difference in usage.

I take my Spinner off the charger then twist it back on and then the full charging cycle starts, roughly 4 hours later it's fully charged

It sounds as though we could do with a definitive spinner charging guide, maybe from a known vendor? Someone? Anyone?

Well mines dead again *shrug* orange light and no charge whereas my 1100 ego T is once again still going strong and I have switched back and forth between the spinner and that one - and probably have vaped the ego more as thats got my Aro tank filled with Ice Mint on it which is my favourite vape at the moment. Having read those threads and some I found when googling it does seem as though this whole charging thing with the Vision II is a bit hit and miss quite a few people having similar issues with it, it'll be interesting to see what happens when my replacement arrives. The vendor was very quick to ofer a replacement so I would have assumed if it was supposed to be doing this then he'd have simply said this was "normal".

Just started with mine, 9.00pm after about 5 hours charging, will just use this till it's dead and see how long it lasts.
Have to sort of agree though. I have two ego t batteries, one 650 and one 1100 and I've used them for well over a year, loads of charges etc etc and although obviously the big one takes longer to charge it seems to last as long as the 1600 spinner, and I don't vape at high volts, usually around 3.5-3.9 ish so about the same as the ego's
Also have an Inno 650 but the thread seems to have gone on that one.
Interesting discussion though, as you say it will be interesting to see if other people have the same issues and what a vendor or two might say?

I am going to contact Ash about the problem, I just thought it was me who was having a problem, nice to know that I am not going nutty

Nobody should have to do anything other than make sure your chargers and usb leads are working on other equipment 100%. The light system should have no effect, you plug it in and leave it until all the lights have gone out , then it should be 100% fully charged.
