Because it wicks so well I don't seem to need as much on the deck as cotton YMMV.

Looks like you've got a bit less there than my current build! In fact that looks closer to my cotton builds! Seems to be working well so far but I've not vaped much yet and I'm only on 15.3w with a 1.5 ohm coil!

Has anyone had to change their wick yet with rayon? Mine has been going 10 days. I haven't changed the juice, but it still looks like the day I wicked it.

Yes after 4 tanks in a Kayfun, but cotton normally only last one tank.  It's my juice, the rayon got the same gunk that accumulates on the coil stuck to it. link

Built this on Friday and took this pic just now. It was my only vape for a weekend camping trip, can't remember how many refills, just kept topping it up
as I had things to do like drink beer, BBQ and everything else a camping trip entails. Surprisingly no great deterioration in flavour, no dry hits just kept going.
Juice was BoH. Conclusion? I'll leave you to decide.

Thanks to davetherayon for the sample which arrived yesterday.

I swapped out the cotton in my BB Diver V2 setup quickly last night and, well it's interesting stuff.
I packed a lot more in than I would have used with cotton as per the recommendations, wicking is certainly no problem, vapour was about on par with the cotton build maybe a bit less but I couldn't give it much time to bed in.
Flavour was definitely stronger with my RY4, I was able to crank the BB up a couple of notches higher than I could with cotton too.

The only downside for me is that I did experience some light-headedness, similar to a nic rush but not at the same time if that makes sense?
This was more than likely just a side effect of the improved wicking and higher voltage than I'm used to, or it might just not agree with me for some reason, but with the safety concerns some have raised it does make me wonder.

I'll try it again with another atty on the weekend with a completely clean setup before drawing any conclusions as this stuff has so much promise.

Reading on the ECF there was some talk of users having to readjust their mixes including concentrate useage and nicotine lmets due to how well it is wicking and the vaporising of the juice and the nicotine, definitely something to look out for though

First off many thanks to Dave for sending me a very generous sample of rayon ......this stuff is certainly better than cotton when it comes to wicking , mainly using my latina since it arrived which needed a sliver of cotton in the 306 to aid wicking/reduce dry hits but I did find it was prone to a slight burnt taste when the juice run low & needed priming again but since using the rayon this niggle has been eliminated .
Chucked some in my Naturevape last night , can't really tell if the flavour is any better but certainly on par with cotton , early days but so far gets the thumbs up from me .
