Rave-on for rayon?

pyr0 metre for £2.50, that's where I got mine. Mrsmac the seller on the link I sent you the other day has changed the description to make it clear in comes in a plastic bag not a box, it doesn't bother me but thought I should let you know.

Hey Guys, just did a burn test on the Rayon and it burns very similar to cotton wool. It just leaves a tiny bit of grey ash, as does the cotton wool. Certainly no melting.

Received my sample today and alarge sample it was too! Firstly I would like to thank @davetherayon for his very kind and generous action.

Following the instruction in this thread I wicked a microcoil (1.8ohm) in an aerotank on a vtr at 9 watts. First impressions, no discernible change in flavour, significant increase in vapour and a noticeable increase in throat hit, juice used was afrodizziac mixed at 15 percent conc and at 50/50 pg vg.

Very pleased so far and will update in due course.

You're not meant to string it round your head like a turban VapingBad. Carry it in a bag like normal folk do!

davetherayon received my sample today and instantly made a build in my new Omega RDA, dual coil (micro) @ .5 Ohm slid in some rayon and covered in Red Astaire (6mg)

Got this set up on a mech with a fresh battery so around 34watts (8.2A)

WOW I've never tasted RA like this before, flumes of vapour and a really nice (not harsh) throat hit.
I haven't tried this set up with cotton cos I've literally just unwrapped the omega but I'm a happy man! Will update once i have tried this set up with cotton wool for a direct comparison

Thanks for the large sample davetherayon, tried mine in the Taifun GS with a 1.7 coil using Minty the Toff and have to say am very impressed with the flavour and vapour production.
Also wicked the spheroid with a 1.8 coil with some home made custard, again great flavour and no issues with wicking.
Very easy to work with.
Personally wouldnt say there are massive differences between the rayon and cotton but that could be down to my shot taste buds.

Thanks to davetherayon for my huuuuge free sample that arrived on Monday. I stuck some in a megatank with a 1.8 coil and some red Astaire and I am impressed. Stuck the tank on my knackered ole vamo, set it at 9 watts and yep,happy.
So over the past two days been puffing away on the vamo pretty much constantly and personally find it works better than cotton wool probably suggestive I know but if I said I had been playing round with the watts an have it at 15 which I have never achieved with cotton, not sure if taste is much different but would say its cleaner if that makes sense but certainly a fuller vape.
Two problems though, with the higher watts the old batteries ain't lasting as long as they did and not sure if 15 watts is going to be enough now I have been introduced to this gear.
Probably have to be looking for a 30/50 watt device now. Thanks Dave icon_shoppingm
