A pound a meter, fine if you want to try it, but loads of profit making there and no larger lengths at sensible prices. That's what i meant, if you are buying bits from C9V and want to see how it is then a £1.00 add to basket won't do much harm. I knew that's what you meant and agree that's fine, good even if you are ordering and want to give it a try, after all you can't get any other wick for less than a pound. I was shocked that they didn't do say 20 m for £5, but guess they only have one 1200 ft (370 m) box that cost less than £40.

Seems to have gone quite so I thought I would post a couple of builds. Tobh with 3 mm coils of twisted 0.27 mm kanthal at 1.5 ohm, get the coils close to the air inlet and quite high so the air goes evenly above and below, still a new atty to me so there are better builds out there. Kayfun/Russina 3 mm coil of twisted 0.27 mm kanthal at 1.3 ohm, very nice.

Hi peeps, please to say,i don`t have a rayon allergy. it was the `fluff` packing in the spheroid & Heron that caused my problem.(don`t buy off Ebay note). Have found that `Japanese` cotton has been best for flavour & vapour. (Mrs Lord`s). Happy SAFE again.

I thought I'd leave my thoughts on this albeit a bit controversial. davetherayon kindly sent me a sample of rayon which arrived on August 7th. I've wicked three different atties with it so far and I'm getting mixed results depending on not only the atty, but also the juice used. First. 3d dripper setup with dual 2mm vertical microcoils. This thing is an absolute pig to build at the best of times, and due to using vertical coils, threading the wick is a complete pain in the @**. Tried several times to get the right amount of rayon but it just doesn't work. Needing a tight initial fit of wick leaving room for it to shrink is nigh on impossible and so I gave up. Second build was in the dream. 2mm microcoil again. Works fine for the first 20 pulls. Then dry hit central. Not enough space in the chimney for masses of wick and so again this atty doesn't lend itself to rayon needing that bit more material. I ripped it apart last night and put a 1.5mm coil in it, wicked with rayon, and it's improved massively. Third set of builds are in my kayfuns. Use these all day everyday and so I need them to perform faultlessly. These have plenty of space for the extra wick needed and so this isn't an issue. I use 3mm coils in these. For the most part I've found the flavour and vapour production to be about the same as normal cotton. The one problem I've found is with my adv red astaire. I just cannot get this to wick properly. Taste is muted no matter what build I use (builds that offer stellar flavour with normal cotton) and I get dry hits at silly low power. Since the only difference between the red astaire and my other juices is the pg/ratio (ra is 60/40, rest are 50/50), I can only assume that the rayon works better with thicker juices. So overall, it isn't a wonder wick, and it's inherant purity is a bit of a worry. So although I'm very thankful for the opportunity davetherayon gave me, I'll stick with my cotton pleat
