Rave-on for rayon?

Received my sample today. Many thanks davetherayon. Very generous of you to share the wealth with so many folk. Since you gave such a large sample I don't mind passing a bit on to one or two others who want to try it. Just give me a shout and I'll pop a little baggie in the post.

First impressions are pretty good so far. Threaded some into a micro coil in a protank head. Packed it as tight as I could based on previous advise. Took a little while to bed in properly but getting loads of flavour and vapour now after putting a couple of mls through it. Seem to be getting more of a nic hit off it as others have mentioned too.

Still early days, will keep experimenting with it. Different combinations of tank and juice etc. But definitely promising so far

I got some of the graham cellucotton off ebay so have already tried it with no issues there are a lot of people on why going on about headaches and sore throats etc I'm guessing it's one or two guys trying to scare people can't find anything on it on a google search just guessing scare mongrels again

Will be sending out two little mini samples for a couple of members to try tomorrow. Going to do some slightly more scientific testing of rayon vs cotton wool over the weekend and will let you all know if I make any interesting findings. if I decide i'm not getting on with the rayon i'll pass the rest on so someone else can give it a try.

Just tried in my Tobh clone 0.6 ? @ 30 W and so much better than cotton (I think I was using too long tails) actually got some flavour and opened the second air hole. Too much nic hit, may mix up some lower nic juice.

Small vial? It must have been on the desk while I was packing the rayon and got swept in. It'll be one of those diddly sub-10 ml samples of juice you get from suppliers along with your order. Give it a try in a dripper, it's probably very nice!

Karken 0.78 ?, only taken a few hits and it's much better than expected. Much more flavour that the Tohb, close to steel but with more punch per watt. Early days yet I will edit if I get any wicking probs, I put extra in the tank so I can pull it up if it gets clogged with cooked juice.



E: handles 30 W witch is to much with 10 mg juice, prefer 25 W.  But it's difficult to refill as the wicks seal so need a long needle.

E2: It is having scorching problems, I think that the diameter of the coils should be a bit smaller than the holes in the deck.

On Facebook groups there are a lot of people telling people not to buy it and linking to rayon clothes links that say it can cause Parkinson's

You will need 2 x 2.5 mm ss washers as the ones that come with it are magnetic, I would get 50 as they get gunked over time.  I also replace the screws for ones with larger heads (M2.5 6 mm) from eBay and put one layer of PTFE tape under the tank seals to keep it nice and tight.
