How annoying Super-Shiny I got some from the same vendor last week didn't need to pay extra postage only got the smallest amount though to try it out. I have noticed that he has increased the price on his later listing from £2.49 to £3.29 if he's also not paying enough postage he's raking it in now. On the plus side though it's easy to work with in my protank mini's. I rewicked 5 this morning with a 1 inch piece. No gurgling or leaking so far seems to be more vapour and flavour than the cotton wool too. Hope you get yours soon. I got mine from the same vendor as well and no issues. Also found I've had the best results in the mini Protanks as well.

Presumably it just had an ordinary stamp on it, as did mine. Daft to put a first class on it. 2nd class large is only 7p more. The same vendor Super-Shiny used sent me two envelops bite 2nd class large. I would ask them to refund the extra.

There's no excuse for not buying the correct postage especially if you are posting out the same thing over and over again. Ive been buying and selling one eBay for over ten years and ive never once got the postage wrong. If your not sure you weigh it, its that simple.

I've done an audit for Royal Mail this year in Manchester. In my view they have made posting parcels too complicated. The sizing and pricing are a right rigmarole. But letters and large letters have been around for years. Yet still they have irate members of the public queuing up for underpaid postage. It's got to the stage where some mail centres don't bother with things like birthday cards. It looks like the fee will be shooting up next year also.

I agree working out the postage with royal fail is now a nightmare, but when it comes to ebay its not that hard. When you create an aution they suggest a postage charge based on the millions of other items that are listed of a similar size and weight. The other half has just had a real clear out of all her unworn clothing on ebay and did not make one mistake with the postage. If she can manage that then a seller who's posting a small jiffy bag with something that weighs next to nothing has no excuse for not getting it right. The one that did it to me put 69p on a small jiffy. I think most people would think thats not going to be enough based on the cost of a first class stamp.

Back to the rayon. The reason I use it spikus is because of the longevity. Lasts many times longer than cotton. No matter what I put it in, no dry hits. I've even used it in a Smok vivi style atomizer, had to roll it quite tight to fit down the head slots, and if anything its wicks too well. Crackles and pops all over the place when first fired. And, because of this, it's hard to overwick, unlike cotton. So for me, it's easier to use. The fibres separate in straight lines too, so easier to get the right build. Agreed it doesn't seem too different from cotton, flavour etc., just less attention needed.

davetherayon, finally found the time to recoil and re-wick 3 Kayfuns. All with 1.6ish ohm micro coils, one wicked with cotton, one with bamboo wool and the 3rd with rayon. The following based only on a couple of hours vaping - all 3 tanks filled with the same batch of Custardy Lovechild, on a Provari with freshly charged battery @ 3.8v Flavour - the rayon wins, followed by the cotton then the Bamboo Vapour - the rayon wins hands down Throat Hit - very little difference with the Rayon and Bamboo, but both beat the cotton Ease of use - Rayon wins hands down, so easy to manipulate Longevity - can't comment as yet as had less than a tank through each of them. So far, am loving the Rayon and have re-coiled and wicked 3 Aerotank heads to try it out with them, but only changed the coils in my regular ones yesterday, so will be later in the week that I try them in the Aerotank and Mega.

Genesises (genesii?) work a little differently based on wicking an Aga T2 and a Kraken. They start out a bit meh, the vapour production isn't up there along with Kayfuns, but after a day or so - as the wick reduces in size into the coil, presumably - they pump out the volume pretty nicely. I think they're worth the effort, though as an alternative to a Kayfun rather than instead of.

I gave up with Rayon in the Kraken as it could not wick fast enough and gunked up too quickly, decent vape, but the flavour nowhere as good of ss rope IMO. I have wicked my 4 all with ss rope again. I tried rayon through 2.2 mm and 1.7 mm dual micro coils and would suggest the 2 mm may be good if you don't have a gunky eliquid. Leave the wicks long so you can pull them up and trim rather than replace and gently wind the wicks around the centre post so the juice can move around the tank and not obstruct the fill hole. 2.2 mm, 0.32 mm Kanthal: I had it upto 30 W and re-wicked three times varying the thickness, but I think the deck holes choke the juice flow too much. The gunked wick after about 4 ml on the 2.2 mm 1.7 mm, 0.29 mm Kanthal, can't handle enough power for my liking

Tagging VapingBad as it seems you like to experiment jeffc reckons a strip three times the inner diameter of your coil and that sounds right to me, it will shrink a bit so don't be stingy. davetherayon reccomended 3 mm coil in a Kayfun and thats what I'm liking best right now (0.4 mm Kanthal, 0.32 mm is OK) as just trim the wicks to just touch the deck gives a nice lot of wick in the chamber.
