Rave-on for rayon?

Don't forget to squeak! ... that is, the rayon should be tight enough in the coil to just be heard squeaking. That's the squeak spot, err sweet spot for density.

Cheers VapingBad so about 4.5mm thick for a 1.5mm coil.....seems a lot and maybe a bit hard to pull 4.5mm wick through a 1.5mm coil ??? saying that i aint tried it yet so i don't know it's workability.

You need a lot more rayon that you do cotton Super-Shiny. With cotton, under your instruction, it needs to pull back and forth with little to no resistance, with Rayon you want some resistance, but not too much to strangle it. HTH

8 wraps of 0.4 mm Kanthal, 3 mm coil @ 1.1 ? in a Focal Kayfun is what I'm liking best right now, just trim the wicks to just touch the deck gives a nice lot of wick in the chamber. (vaping on a mech)

Yes! my sample is probably a foot I'd guess and reckon it'll last me months, probably more if I stop dicking about with coils.

I use about the same amount as cottonwool in kanger coils just enough to give slight resistance. Then cut very slightly longer ends and fluff a bit more than cottonwool. Haven't had any leaks yet. Super-Shiny

Good tip, btw for a 3 mm coil this is about half of the thickness of the rayon.
