Hello Just :-) and welcome I know what you mean about getting a goodun to start off, the last thing you want is to waste money on something that doesn't work for you, when I bought my first ecig I didnt care about the cost, I just wanted to stop smoking, it came, I charged it and never smoked a rollie since, I have 2 and a half packs of golden verginia baccy on the shelf that I will be giving to my skint mate when I eventually see her lol As far as eliquid is concerned, I would always say just go for it and by as many flavours as you can afford (within reason lol) so that hopefully there are several you will like from the off. I like my baccy flavours and have a few fruit and menthol, these have no become my regular vapes, most flavours I find to sweet, and I can't handle sweet stuff, I was faffing around in the early days always looking for 'something more' that is why I say get a good few flavours in and a nice kit as well also when buying get a few different atty's, Carto's etc coz some you will find deliver 'to you' better than others :-) and good luck you wont regret it.

I smoke amber leaf baccy, dont know if anyone could tell me if there is a liquid that would taste similar?? Since quitting "nasties" I have gone right off of tobacco and currently vape Cherry Menthol. Someone else here will let you know what is nearest to your requirements, by this time next week I'll bet you are vaping!

Hmmm, dont think I would be into anything too sweet to be honest, just dont know what flavour to go for, but hoping that I go off the tobacco flavour too ) I think the main worry I have is that I definately do not want to put on any weight, I gained a lot of weight after I had my daughter and was suffering with severe depression and having lost just over 5 stone about 5 years ago I do not want to go back there. Did anyone find they gained weight because of reaching for food instead of fags??

I have just been watching vapourtrails with Cat and Sav, they featured a very nice silver and gold ego from Trog, £29.99 it is a very good looking bit of kit and a heck of a good price as well Its here www.cavecom.com/screwdriverSD/shopSD/sdego.shtml

I agree that does look nice Sandra & it is a good deal, but it only comes with one atomiser & Trog's postage charges are £5.49.

Welcome justjj. My personal recommendation would be a Riva kit - look for one with two batteries + two atomizers . OKSmokey HERE stock pretty good facsimiles of the 'real deal' although I've not yet found a 'true' likeness of a rolly. Fox

Thanks all, so I am swayed now with no weight gain lol - looking at oksmokey stuff now, think I am going to go for the double flavour 38mg stuff as advised earlier on to go for quite a strong one so fingers crossed

Welcome justj from another newbie. Good to see someone else from the E. Midlands (as long as you are not a Derby City supporter ) I started two weeks ago with a Riva after advice here and elsewhere and I agree that its a great choice. All I would add is that for me cartomisers work much better than the atomiser/ cartridge combination that comes with most starter kits. Once you have taken time to get them well soaked with juice they last a lot longer. Also if you get LR (2ohm) ones you get much more throat hit - Boge or Kanger are good ones to try. I smoked nearly 20 small cigars a day for years and it is working for me!
