I dont know why the Government dont just slap a compulsory under 18 ban on ecig sales of any kind. Simple solution, it will hurt no-one. The blame and punishment will then be on the sellers.

I agree 100%.

It's actually PATHETIC. This could have been done 2+ years ago. Since it's so b***** simple, anybody using these stories to "have a pop" at e-cigs needs to get a life.

I can see our flavours being banned soon. Seems to be one of the major reasons that kids are taking up e-cigs according to several reports.

Seen this statement in another article:

The WHO is assessing its position on e-cigarettes, and has indicated it is leaning toward restrictions like those on all nicotine-containing products, including banning advertising and flavors.

Peeps had better start mixing their own, if they don't already, coz that will probably be the only way we can flavour our juice in the future. They wouldn't be able to stop the sale of concentrate flavours IMO.

Lets be honest about this, if these kids had gone into a local shop and bought fags I doubt it even warrsnt a mention.
It's all about the currentfashion to have a go at vaping.....and they call themselves journalists

The reason I can't see an age ban being placed is that would then legitimise the use vaping products for the population over 18, which in turn would be a hypocrisy of the current Anti stance.

Yes, and as I have said before, the government have missed the boat with regard to ecigarettes and are not happy.

Due to cigarette sales dropping & them not making the revenue they used to, they really need to grab back what they're losing, so guess who the lucky donors for their lack of funds are!!!

Other than that flippant comment, everything else is just said in that article to discredit ecigs, whilst yet again totally ignoring the value as a life saving alternative they are.
