iTaste VV Help!

Hey guys, So my iTaste VV came today and ive started to play around FINALLY managed to change from wattage/voltage which has taken me about an hour of googling just to work out...

So been looking at the charts and im just stuck..
Im using a 1.5 ohm ..
So what should my settings be? Apparently its 3Volts and 7 watts..

So the itaste doesnt go down to 3. the lowest is 3.3.. and even as playing nothings tasting good.
I am slightly hungover so my taste buds are dead lol,

But i thought this thing would be easy but its like something of a spaceship.. hahaha,

Just start low and try it then increase it a little either watts or voltage until it vapes nicely for you. Don't worry about the chart!

Do they both work together? Or are they separate. if that makes sense? So whilst im adjusting voltage would i also have to adjust wattage or are they just two different types? I hope that makes sense lol..

No they don't work together, you select either volts OR watts

It`s two different ways of getting where you want to go. I would set it at about 5 watts and see what it is like, if it isnt quite doing it for you then turn the wattage up half a watt at a time and retest/taste. Forget about the voltage altogether at this stage, you dont need it. Keep it on Wattage (power)

Hi Pixilocks, glad you started this thread, in the same boat as you confusing ain't it

Pixilocks wil7985 set the v3 to watts and you should find that 8-10 will give you what your after. Pixilocks at 3volts you will be using just 6 watts with the 1.5 coil. even an ego/evod will give around 3.5-3.7= 8-9watts so it may be a bit low compared to what you got from the ego/evod.
Most find 8-10 watts gives what they like.

Its tasting burnt on 8 volts..
Switched out the coil for a 2ohm, still tasting burnt at 8 volts, very fustrating!

Try it back in the ego/evod and see what its like and get back to us

If your atomiser is 1.5ohms, it's a dual coil.

Anything under 6 watts could be like vaping on a Poundland e-cig. (and probably encourage flooding too).

I would set it to 8 and see how you go. Mine lives on 9 - I rarely change it.

Have you got P = 8.0 ?

(That's P for Power (watts) not Volts)

Should be fine with a 1.5ohm.

Got mine set on 8.5 watts with a 2.1ohms coil now, don't seem to bad now.

I sure you both know that sometimes a new coil can take a tank fill or two to bed in and start working well. Sometimes you just get a bad coil that wont wick properly and after a day the coil ends up in the bin, and another one that's ok is sitting in the tank. That's why I suggest trying it on the old battery again to see if its the atty or the settings of the v3.

Its working fine in the evod, Just not the greatest flavour.. Ill try refilling it may be a case of steeping aswell, just makes my throat numb in the itaste?

Its P8.0,
Tried it on both volt and wattage settings now
