Think I must have been unlucky in that the first battery I tried was dead, dead, dead. Never thought of trying the other one, just assumed they both needed charging. When cheapie died I was thinking 'oh shite' but then decided to try battery 2 and it worked. Got a absolute gob full of vapor and choked for a bit! LOL. Think I've got it sorted now, had put way too much liquid in the blank, so now think I'll stick to putting a couple of drops in rather than keep dripping till it's full

Dee, by dead do you mean it isn't charging? if so get onto Liberty-flights & they will send you a replacement.
The cartridges you get with the Riva are empty (unlike some that come prefilled with juice) so to begin with they need filling with up to 10 drops of juice. After that they just need topping up with 2-4 drops at a time.

Hi Chrissie, I think it must be the charger that's gone down. Neither unit is recharging. I ended up leavingn the one on overnight and it did have enough charge to fire up once then died again. I'm feeling really fed up, lucky I've got the cheapie back or I'd be back on my rollies.

Dee, have you had any response from them following your phone message?
With two batteries and two atomisers - I would also agree that it is probably the charger. You poor thing you. Mine works fine, thankfully, so please don't give up. x

I've had a email back from Abe so they're not ignoring me. He says he'll get the orders dept to sort it out so just waiting to hear from them. Isn't it just typical? I was going to do a demo down the local pub tonight, obviously can't do that now. I spoke to the landlord after the England match, he's toying with the idea of getting ecigs in .....so watch this space! The more I can gently push (shove full force) into ecigs the better

Agree Dee- am going great guns with mine. 72 hours now - and really do not even think about a real cigarette. Still can't believe it. Judy got hers this morning - had same probs with instructions as we did - but a quick phone call and she was off and 'vaping'. Fear that I am in serious danger of becoming one of those overbearing converts! Am at the stage of 'Who else do I know who smokes?' just so that I can ring them and wax lyrical ( translated as - 'bore the pants off them').

I'm pleased yours is working fine Dee - now you just have to work out whether it was the charger or the batteries that was not working properly - my money is on the charger.
Hanow, that is fantastic. Isn't it great to be free of the 'hold' that cigs have over you?
I'm pleased Judy has hers up and running too. There is a great post (well, 6 actually) on the LF forum that I might ask if I can copy over here. It is a step by step guide to starting vaping. It would be nice to add it to our little reference library

Jaki - so, so, so true. I truly cannot believe: a) this has worked for me, when everything else on the market has failed to persuade me to even begin to desist. The ease with which I have done this, I am still finding unfathomable (knowing myself as I do.) b) I am - for the first time in over 30 years - seeing the reality of my 'real cig' addiction - and could cry at the health lost, money wasted, social situations missed etc. c) The money I am going to save on fuel costs! During the winter/rain/snow - standing and puffing with the back door open to puff as much out as possible; just how much more did the heating bill amount to whilst achieving that? d) The 'devil on the back' has had a very good side-swipe - and that is wonderful to finally be able to say, "Get lost".

I have three of the original Tornado batteries and one Riva one. The Riva is a clone of the Tornado of course but i do like the Black and Gold as opposed to the silver coloured findings. The battery life is equal to that of a new Tornado battery and a couple of quid cheaper too which, together with the 15% discount (ECR69) is a very good deal. Fox PS: The word Tornego likely results from the forum owner altering the name 'Tornado' in the Admin's word filter as, obviously Liberty Flights would prefer people not refer to another vendor's product. LOL

I've spoken to Sandra, who wrote the beginners guide on the LF forum, and she is happy for me to copy them over here providing I credit them to her and add her affiliate code, so she stands a chance of making something out of her hard work.
Personally I feel that is quite reasonable, but what do you think Scylla? The guides are really good for new vapers and I think we would benefit from having them over here
