Hehe robby I have that same inline volts tester, and it won't work on the Modz (cana or ft), even with a 510 adapter on it, works perfectly well on other devices. It must be a Friday FastTech It`s so weird the way that thing works , I just cant get my head round why it doesnt show voltage drop, even on mechs

Right finally pulled the trigger. It was either this or an mvp so I hope I've made the right choice. I'm also ordering some sony vtc5s to go with it. I'll grab a nitecore d4 later. Bit of overkill for my protanks and aerotanks but it should be spot on for when I step up a bit Got any drippers dalealan ? get yourself one if you havent, the flavour at 15 or 20 watts is amazing. That`s been the biggest difference I have seen with my DNA30. Got an igo l coming from fasttech just to have a go. It was only £3.99 www.fasttech.com/products/1648200 and if I get on with it I quite fancy a magma they seem to get really good reviews robby

Bit of overkill for my protanks and aerotanks but it should be spot on for when I step up a bit These high wattage things were definitely designed for drippers really, higher watts needs good wicking and you get that with a dripper. That said, you might be able to push watts uo a bit and benefit with a protank. I run my protank at 11watt on mvp and reckon could go higher if mvp did, that's with my own coils by the way....for me stock ones are rubbish by comparison and can't take past 7 or 8 watts without burning. Mates got aerotank mega sat at 15watts on a SID, standard coil and no burning so megatank might be able to go higher.

Thanks boyofford my sons got the mvp and I've had it turned right up and still thought it could handle a bit more and yeah robby I do like that magma it gets great reviews and seems a doddle to coil and wick. I tend to swap juices a lot so a dripper would be fun for testing stuff out instead of all the clart on dismantling tanks, washing them out etc. I'll see how I get on with the igo l when it arrives before jumping right in I've also got some premade coils and wicks ordered in a range of ohms and both tight and loose coil just to see what they're like. Yup I'm lazy

Think they worked out at about £1.50 for 50 or thereabouts. Nothing sub ohm just 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0 if I remember correctly.

I`m using 2 x 1.5 ohms FT coils in parallel at the moment, so about .8 ohm, working really well in the magma

These high wattage things were definitely designed for drippers really, higher watts needs good wicking and you get that with a dripper. The Karken with dual 2.5 mm SS rope wicks handles 30 W with ease, could push it a lot higher and IMO much lusher flavour than any dripper I have tried at the same wattage, others will disagree and I think it depends on your juice.

That igo l has 3 posts but can run single coils easy enough and it only has one air hole for some daft reason so if I dual it I'll need to drill another 'un. Crazy plan. Oh and it also comes shipped in an igo w box for some reason. It's on the images and in the comments on fasttech. Hah gotta love them.

No, not really, when the battery gets low it seems to stop regulating and just pass the battery voltage through (so a weak vape), but it`s all good, serves as a reminder to change it without stopping completely ..................................... well that`s my spin on it lol You are making me feel I deffo did the right thing getting the box and a real DNA *gloat_smilie*. At what sort of charge level does it stop regulating, IIRC davetherayon said his Cana did it at 60 % battery? That`s me at the moment, it`s working fine, but surprisingly there is only 3.75 (3.55 with the button pressed) on the battery, I`ll post again when and if I get problems VapingBad

I must get a magma, almost pulled the trigger on genuine one months ago, then it went out of stock! With fasttech doing clones I'll treat myself to one of them soon, supposed to be good for flavour.
