I must get a magma, almost pulled the trigger on genuine one months ago, then it went out of stock! With fasttech doing clones I'll treat myself to one of them soon, supposed to be good for flavour. They are good, there is a 1:1 clone on FT, Flavour is great even at 15 watts, a big difference Been hovering on the black one, would work good with ipv looks wise. Don't think it's a dripper for ridiculous watts anyhow, more for flavour than clouds from what I recall.

These high wattage things were definitely designed for drippers really, higher watts needs good wicking and you get that with a dripper. The Karken with dual 2.5 mm SS rope wicks handles 30 W with ease, could push it a lot higher and IMO much lusher flavour than any dripper I have tried at the same wattage, others will disagree and I think it depends on your juice. To be fair my knowledge if rba is limited, I don't even own one! Was thinking of the protanks and the like.

Plenty of clouds around when you bump it up a bit, but to my taste the flavour is a bit better lower down about 15 W

It`s enough for me at 15 :)Definitely a bit warmer, as you know the coils have individual air channels right underneath them

Right finally pulled the trigger. It was either this or an mvp so I hope I've made the right choice. I'm also ordering some sony vtc5s to go with it. I'll grab a nitecore d4 later. Bit of overkill for my protanks and aerotanks but it should be spot on for when I step up a bit Nice one. Let me know what it's like. I am curious and quite fancy a DNA30 tube mod. VTC5's are overkill though. I bought a pair of VTC4's and VTC5's when I got my DNA30, but there was no need for the DNA device. You can't go above 10A anyway due to the limitations of the circuit, so I now just use my CGR's in mine, and leave the VTC's for the mechs. As for drippers, I got a FT Igo W and the posts didn't have holes drilled, so were a right pain to coil. So I got a genuine one, and I love it. I also got the PMMA top cap from FT for it, and it has MUCH bigger holes on it, which is excellent for lung hits. I've bee putting in 0.5 - 0.9 ohm builds in and blasting the DNA at 30w. Lovely.

The second origen clone v1/v2 bastard child clone ain't as hot but still dont go below 0.5 ohms with it... so whats that.... 35 watts..... well more like 30 watts with voltage drop.

I use my VTC's plenty, and only use them in mech, regardless of the resistance of the attys. I was just saying that I bought them thinking I needed them for the DNA, but turns out I didn't. I do need them for my 0.2 ohm Igo W builds though. Lush as beep.

The Evolv spec has max input current of 12 A not 10 A, but who knows with a clone. In my DNA30 I used to use both CGRs (10 A) & VTC4s (30 A) and it rejects the CGRs as a higher voltage that the CGRs (about 200 mV in the low 20s w). Now I'm vaping at a bit higher wattage I only use the VTCs.

Thanks for all the advice gents. It's going to be my first big boy mod as I'm still using ego twists for work but it looks small enough to hide from the boss think I'll order the batteries from the uk as there was a lot of clart on with fasttech not being able to send them out with their carriers a bit ago due to regulations.

I ordered vtc5s other day from fasttech then cancelled order.... looks like they are testing new postal service, and potentially could take ages or not get here. I didn't fancy being guinea pig, and wanted them quicker. Last time I ordered batteries months ago they came in 2 weeks or less though.
