the search for spice is upon me!

Heyas peeps if someone can help I'd appreciate it.
I am after a couple of spice mixes ideally one like mixed spice you would use in bakeing and also a nutmeg style.
Any advice on where to go as I canny find any yet.

I have nutmeg from Health cabin, can't say I have used it much yet though but I do intend to.

That would have been my suggestion as well.

Cupcake world also do bunspice.

I'm not a fan but many on here are.

It all depends really igual.

Most of their concentrates need between 20-30% but some like Honey, cream, lemongrass, kaffir lime etc need as little as 1-2%

I will tag Perpetua as she uses the dessert type ones.

I had bunspice at 25% and it wasn't strong enough at all.

I think you need around 30% really, although some of theirs are really potent just not the sesserty types.

There is a thread somewhere, will see if I can find it.

I am not even going to correct that above what the hell is sesserty???

I got a pumpkin pie spice from chefs last week. Not tried it yet, but expect it to be a nice mixed spice type flavour

I'd avoid CCW's Christmas Cake igual . . . it was pretty rank for my tastes and I sinked mine.

Their Bunspice is the reverse, delicious - I make mine up at 25% nothing else added and it's yummy to my tastes. Just like eating a Hot Cross Bun.

Capella's Gingerbread is another lovely ' spicy ' for me, as is F'arts Clove . . . Nutmeg, although I have some, it's yet to be used.

I received a bottle on Inawera 'Exotic Roots' today igual

Not mixed any yet but a taster of a little droplet on the finger reveals there is definitely nutmeg and cinnamon in this concentrate.
