After a normal clean using isproynol last week ( threads, Atty connector, spring and where the battery hits) I've developed intermittent power. At times its fine others there nothing there even with no carto on. I've done another full more inyense clean, I'm using new and old batts. I think it something to do with the switch although not sure, there was some flaky crud on the inside that I gently cleaned away. Private states not too flush on mods dated after Dec 2012 mine was purchased July 2012. Should I try this, if so how do you do it?. After the clean last week there is some slight crazing in the window, it hasn't been dropped, well not by me I'd thought maybe a bit of the spray had got on and caused this but one of my household may have knocked it over, don't know if this might have something to do with it. Any other suggestions would be great. I may not reply till tonight as I probably won't hav a connection. Raggy.

Had the same problem with mine, did the full flush (your correct about the date) worked for a short time and started to fail again.
Eventually went back across the pond to Provape, they turned it around same day, it got to uk customs and then the fun started.
26 days later after 3 letters from them, I got it back with new board etc'.
I hope you have the original purchase receipt otherwise you may have to pay customs fees, that was why i had the customs delay for 26 days.
I had my receipt so all was well but i had my say about the laxed way they dealt with it.
Leicester to Usa and back to Coventry = 6 days. Coventry to Leicester (18 Miles) = 26 days.......

Warranty return mate, just the postage to them (approx £4.30 recorded)
Provape will fix out of warranty but I'm at a loss as to how much.

I have seen loads of them with intermittent power loads of people think they are bulletproof but I can tell you they are not I wouldn't have one overpriced and cannot get hold of spare parts back to provape im afraid and I don't think they justify there price in the first place they only last so long because most people wont take them out of there house to frightened they might drop it or lose it but I think amount of vape hours they last is no more than any other mod

mine is totally bomb proof
having dropped it numerous times even the top cap coming away and still works after all the abuse I give it
they are fairly straight forward to disassemble if you want to get at the window inside and the switch to give it a deep clean
If you are brave enough

Mine's a mk1 from all them years and months ago, it's been dropped and knocked about- knocked over countless times and it still works as it should. Has been dismantled and flushed/cleaned a couple of times mind you, you'll be amazed at the crap that gets in them even though the battery cap only comes off when you change batteries

Mine certainly isn't a garage queen goes with me everywhere. I bought it to use and abuse not look at admiringly In fact I've just finished painting the bathroom walls and nicotine stained ceiling and had to give it a little wash to get emulsion of it

thanks for the replies everyone. ive now flushed it twice and also used the straw on the can to put a bit of blast around the switch. so now will leave 24hrs and see from there. ive had 2 solid years use from it so for the money im not overly disappointed if its knackered, id rather it wasnt obviously, especially having just bought 4 new 18500s and a new charger for me hols. ok so now i only have the mvp as my main mod what should i buy on the quick, maybe bearing in mind i have 18500s batts but thats not critical as if i have any groans about the provari its that without an extension (which i dont have) there is plenty of battery charging to do. what i do need in a mod is that it takes boges 510 cartos as that is what i like to use and have plenty of them, personally i dont find boges work without issues on the mvp as the pin is to low and a very weak area of the mod.

depends a lot on if you like boxes as a lot of people like VTRs and some find them to big but I think being used to provari shape you would be better of with z max or vamo cheap and usable
