I thought it was meant to be cooler today and tonight but how wrong must admit not as humid and hot as yesterday but not that much difference, still to hot to sleep feel like a zombie at the moment i'm so tired but also to hot to sleep, please hot weather give me a break for a few days just cool down to a nice mid to late 70's so i can actually go outside and enjoy the weather instead of being stuck indoors, because my body can't take it my cats have had enough as well, I don't think i've ever wanted to see and feel some rain so much, it was meant to rain today and this evening but nothing, 4 Still its festival weekend next weekend bound to get some rain

I spoke to soon last 2 hours a raging lightening and thunderstorm has been going on, just when i think it's passed you see another streak of lightening and another loud clap of thunder, given up on the sleeping lark again and got up made myself a coffee found two of my 5 cats mouse hunting in the kitchen under the fridge freezer the other 3 are still out in the thunderstorm. I don't like it when they are out in thunderstorms, i wish it was this way with the lottery,

It was . . . nice and cosy under my 15tog duvet though. However that hasn't been off the bed in the ' heatwave ' it hasn't been that warm to me . . . . .

Its those nights when you have to sleep in the buff (just me then?) and then you end up sticking to the thin bed sheet, you then throw your arms and legs about and swear a lot like a crazy person until the sheet comes off the bed. Then you have to deal with the duvet which comes off the bed 5 seconds after, then you're left with a mattress whose springs suddenly want to break every bone in your chest. THEN you finally fall asleep only to be woken up 10 minutes later by your morning alarm, so you remove the pillow from between your legs, jump out of bed and spend the rest of the day moaning and complaining about what a crappy nights sleep you had before going home and the process starts all over again!.
Yeah it's been quite hot.

I can't take the heat either, anything above 70 and I'm moaning lol. We did have a few thunderstorms last week but they don't seem to cool things down like they used to. Our weather is changing it seems, always that horrible muggy, clammy heat that means no sleep, even with fans going day and night. Roll on September I say .... at least if it's still warm during the day, the nights will be drawing in and it will be a lot cooler by the evenings.

WHAT !!!! It been pissing it down since 11:05am Saturday. It was a horrible weekend, really nasty, wet wet wet and a lot cooler too.
It was such a shame, Gail had (as had I ) worked all through the nice weather inside all week. She also works Sat morning and finishes at 11am. as soon as she walked out the door, the sky opened it's tap and didn't stop until about 6pm last night. BLOODY typical. Woke up this morning and it's clear blue sky and 22 degrees. and back to work.
WE ARE NOT HAPPY BUNNIES !!!! It was just as well we went for a beer on Friday evening in the sun as it was about all we saw of it. GGGGGGGGGRuffie. x

GGGGGGGGGRuffie. x move to the east of England then it's been hot hot hot all week, above 28 degree's our car temp has exceeded 35 at one point, but mostly around 32 our house is the same, i have ceiling fans, normal fans, running cost me a fortune in electric, all the windows open and still no breeze, On saturday i used my buggy to go to tesco (other supermarkets are available like sainsbury's and morrisons) and the tar had melted on the roads, felt like i was sinking in the road my buggy couldn't cope with it and it's ruined my tyres. and the storm didn't do anything it's still hot and muggy, but now just damp so lots of mosquitoes about, luckily i don't think they like my meds smell as i rarely get bitten these days, used to get bitten a lot and i was allergic to mosquito bites, we are both getting irritable with the heat, hubby and i that is because of no sleep,

Proper flooding etc, my basil plants are almost destroyed with the downpours, it's battered them and my mint i was rescuing (25p yellow sticker, one of those, "living herb plants") looks like the salad leaves have succumb to the same. My 2 cats and Rax were for it to be a bit cooler and they went and got drenched. Rax hates the rain though but at least he wasn't panting all day. How is everyone this morning ? ? ? ? ? ? Ruffie.

tired this morning lack of sleep around 2 hours max, my cats enjoyed the rain we had late last night, all came in soaked but they have all been hating the heat, i feel sorry for them with their fur coats, one of my cats Mr Tom hasn't known what to do he gets up flops on floor moves 2 steps flops, then cries, flops an cry eventually he settles on my bed under the fan if his brother hasn't taken the spot first, my black and white seem to handle the heat a little better, they go out first thing an come back last thing, they hide under bushes or in the tree's in the forest at the top of my road but it's cloudy now and dark clouds again just as i want to go to post office,
