Can someone give me a rough idea of how much vg to add to a premixed juice that is 70pg/30 vg as I want to bring it down to 50/50 . I've bought 10 mil of my favourite ever juice ( vermillion river ) but I can't vape it in the ratio it's in. I know it will reduce the nic content so I have bought it in 15mg instead of the 10-12mg that I usually vape. It doesn't have to be exact...but to be honest I don't have a clue as to where to start....thank you

Without using a calculator, I think you'd need to add around 2ml of VG to bring it to a 50/50 ratio. Its not just nic strength you'll lose though. Its flavour too.

Its flavour too. mark is correct with ratio mix, but you will lose abit of flavour, maybe put 1.5 mls so as to retain flavour, or even better add 0.5 mls flavour drops

I'd say add 4ml VG to get roughly 50/50 as your current 10ml of 70/30 juice is made up of roughly 7ml pg and 3ml vg This assumes your flavouring and nic in the juice is pg based

Hope dagl doesn't mind me replying padiho . . . Look at the nic combine feature. Tell the calculator what you actually have. Then comes a little guesswork on the second line, until you find what works the nearest to your requirement . . . try adding 2/3/4ml of all VG. Accept the T&C's. Then hit calculate . . . under your ingredients, you'll get the different calculations for the varying amounts of VG you've added. Ejuicemeup has a similar feature, on the Tools tab.

It took me an age to get my head round how EJMU's worked padiho . . . tinkering with the second line of what you need to add. But once you do get to grips with it, it's really quite straightforward. And it feels like quite an achievement, when you get a calculation that's near enough what you're after. Clever things these calculators.

Good stuff padiho . . . if you wanted to combine another strength/ratio of eliquid, then the same method applies. It's a little more straightforward, just adding some extra VG or PG, but still doable with the calculator.
