My custard steeps for at least 4 weeks before I touch it, and by 6 weeks it is dark dark brown.

How long do you leave it?

Custard needs a minimum 4 weeks, preferably 6, gets even better after 8. Otherwise it is not custard

Usually leave it 4 weeks but have been known to dabble before the 4 week mark

I can honestly say I've never vaped custard that colour before.  Looks rank hahaha.  I'm going to have to stash some for a couple of months and try it and see if it really does taste better like that.
