The best acts should not win,,,it is designed for nobodies with very little artistic integrity. Let the girl band or Marcus win,,,Misha, Amelia, Craig and even Johnny should have better careers by not winning! BTW I hate the XFactor but Jessica loves it,,,so I watch it

I've been so fraught over me internet that I forgot to watch the Strictly results But I checked out the spoiler thread on Digital Spy last night so I knew Robbie had gone... after it was revealed that the troll who posted that Alex had gone was - a troll Interesting(?) observation - when the troll posted on DS that Alex had gone William Hill and another bookie took her off their odds list I'm rather bored with Strictly this year. Just too childish and contrived, I mean even more than last year Edited to correct (k)new Too tired to check it all.

The best singer on the X Factor out. I couldn't agree more Perps but Misha doesn't need the X-factor any more, it's served it's purpose and a 'Pop Star' she is most certainly not! She's a versatile singer who knows how to use her voice as an instrument - her natural vocal control is remarkable. She's already picked up a soundtrack job with Tim Burton and, provided that Syco don't keep her tied down, the world's her lobster as someone once said. Fox

If you only knew what I know about X-Factor, you'd never watch it again. Let's just put it like this - some folks are contracted for the televised finals stage, long before the "auditions" start. Sometimes, they're even put into a group that's "made up" on the spot at boot camp...
jus' sayin...

Sorry, Perps - XF is there purely and simply to make money - for Simco/Syco, ITV and the advertisers. That "million pound recording deal" is worth precisely the square rot of bugger all to the winner - the million quid is an advance against royalties - a loan, if you like, that's repayable out of earnings. Every finals contestant is contracted to Simco/Syco on a pseudo-management deal that leeches 20% of their earnings for a twelve month period following the show, and they're prevented from signing to labels other than Cowell's unless Cowell brokers it.
It's one of the most effective bits of manipulation of the music market I've seen in a long time.
OH - and just to upset another group of people - Britain't Got Talent is run in exactly the same way...

Aye - it's all pretty tawdry, all things considered...
Ad that's without auto-tunegate of a couple of years ago...

The contestants do very well; it's some of the guests who could do with auto-tune! I'll remember Katy Perry's 'firework' performance as long as I live!

Hurumph! Fox

The only really good bit is when the camera goes to Gary Barlow.
