Hi guys and girls This is my first successful attempt at coils the other attempts just didnt cut it tbh. Just thought I'd start a thread just showing coils and possibly other peoples different types of coils there are. Mine are just basic coils and pleased with the result. So just had to share it lol Ok here they are..... 1.2ohm coils 5 wraps 2 halfs at beginning and end. With rayon. Super-Shiny for your coiling guide

This was my first attempt NOT! Hahahaha. You should try the heat and squeeze method to close them up like proper micros, they work nice in drippers. Like this But anyway, how's the vape? Enjoying it?

The coils that I knock up look fairly OK, but I always have problems getting them to fit around the screw posts. They look fine and dandy when they are torched, but by the time I've done the fiddly stuff, they are not as neat as enjay's! I am amazed at the neatness of some of the coils that I see pictures of posted on the forum, and strive to keep mine as tidy as I can. Sorry for the hijack, but how do people keep coils neat?

Small pliers, bend the legs to line up with the holes so it doesn't pull the coil all out of shape

enjay what wire are you using? I use 0.25mm (or 30 AWG) and your wire looks so much thicker?

Leave the drill bit your winding the coil round through the coil while you attach it to the screws . Keeps it all nice and neat and stops it going out of shape

Cheap as chips off ebay chykensa or even cheaper if you want me to send you half a dozen free

Keeping a coil tidy is easy, just keep the coil wrapped around the screwdriver/gauge needle or whatever you had the coil wrapped around and secure it to the atty and once all secured make any adjustments (if any) needed.
