Hey folks it's been a while since I was here so thought I should say hello again! Thought I'd done really well I had given up smoking and due to the possible government bans I decided to quit vaping as well! Hit a rough patch with family and work a couple of months ago and unfortunately somewhere along the line I decided to buy a packet of cigs which led to another pack and so on. Obviously I should have gone back to vaping but hey ho it was 3 am at drunk oclock and cigs were easier to find than new vape gear as I gave mine away when I quit. Determined to get it sorted and get off the ciggies so I've been on a spending spree tonight online while puffng on a borrowed Ego to get me started til the shiny stuff arrives Nice to be back as you folks were a great help last time around! here's hoping I can get back to smoke free again soon! sjs

sjs - welcome back, and don't beat yourself up about the fags, I'm sure we can help you to get tobacco-free again. What gear have you been shopping for?

Welcome back sjs Pernicious thing, nicotine. Like they say, you don't stop being an addict, even if you become one who isn't using at the moment. Hopefully your example will cause others giving up nicotine to throw the fags away, but not the vaping gear.

Thanks Chykensa So far I've ordered 2 Evod tanks, 2 protank3 tanks and 3 Vision Spinner batteries! Also had to go and buy an Ego charger for the borrowed Ego Ce4 combination that my mate gave me to get me started again til the new stuff arrives Nothing too fancy but enough to get me going and hopefully keep me away from the real ones! Also came really close to buying a Vamo but thought I better quit while the bank was still saying yes Juice shopping next I think as I've only got some fruit mix my friend had lying around spare but it's not really hitting the spot! Thanks Giles I should have known better, I only gave my gear away around a month before I started smoking again LOL! I thought I would do my friends a favour as they were using one of the cigalike packages and had spent a fair bit of cash on them only to find they weren't all they were made out to be. On the plus side they are both still vaping so some good came of my mistake

what gear did you use to have how far down the shineyitis path were you Thankfully I hadn't gone too far down the shiny path! I had a couple of the Vision Spinners which I've ended up buying again tonight a selection of tanks ranging from ce4s to Evods and Vivi Novas and a very short time with a Vamo 2 which my other half managed to lose 3 weeks after I bought it! Shineyitis was always the biggest problem with this forum lol far too much temptation!!

I think a vamo is a very good choice did you keep your charger if you have I would opt for another vamo as the price is very low at the moment

I was also wondering whether the Vamo 2 was still a good choice as there seems to be a lot of new gear out since my last vape shopping sessions! I can see the temptation arising around payday though

Thanks Charliehorse! Lol yep I noticed the V5 when I was trying to decide what to buy I think when I bought my Vamo 2 the swirly patterned vamo 3 was just starting to make it into stores (and I was glad I had bought the V2 Can't believe how much stuff has come on the market in such a short time it's now even harder to decide what to buy! If I give up again I'm storing it all away next time.. tonight has been an expensive lesson
