I've had two nibbles at LF today must confess.


Wanted to make some Eye of Sauron up, only to find I don't have any Cinnamon Redhots or similar . . . the rest fell into my basket twice, to justify the postage.

Quick update:

After steeping for just over 2 weeks, I had to have a little try of arron's custard challenge winner that I mixed up after he kindly posted his recipe.
Verdict: I'm impressed... it's already delicious, a very smooth creamy custard. The vanilla is definitely there, but I think it will come out more after another couple of weeks.
Right, back in the cupboard it goes... I just couldn't wait to have a little tester!!!

Your not the only one who cant wait leo I did the CLC mix and had to try it after about 10 days, was lovely stuff, so I made up 100ml to get that steeping. Hopefully ill be able to leave it the 4 weeks before I start to use it.

I've got 3x30 mls steeping and it smells lovely every time I open the cupboard !!3 or 4 weeks to go ....

How's the steeped liquid coming on folks, as I've got everything in the post to do a small 400ml mix.... should keep me in custard for a while...

Mines a lite tizer orangy colour atmo lol must coming up for a month steeped.
Does smell nice kind of butterscotch meets custard

How are you guys mixing the vanillin?

Mine went all lumpy.

I prefer to do it in a bowl or jug if someone could tell me how much ( spoons ) to pop in and what to add and do please.

I put about 1/4 in a 10 mil glass bottle added pg nuked for a few seconds shook hell out of it repeat a few times until all dissolved then added a smidge more at a time nuke shake etc until it reached saturation point and all that was left was a teensy bit on bottom of bottle.

Ah I didn't microwave it, and added too much , like a teaspoon lol.

Got vape mail the last 2 days - I'm off to make a 500ml mix of this (found a bigger bottle), which should last a while....

Perpetua 50ml and 100ml bottles of GVC next to the 500ml bottle for comparison - first time using a milk frother as well and it has certainly darkened the juice since it was made.
