Suggestions for a RELAIBLE mini gas torch/lighter ?

I use this not just for coils but 3-4 times a week for silver / gold soldering it's durable good quality nice flame adjustment from solder to bushing

That one looks good , and it has only one review that is low and that's because it wasn't as big as the customer wanted, which I think is more the customers fault, that any fault with the product itself.

It looks more than good enough for what I need and small jobs.

I have fairly big mitts and it fits my hands lovely. I go through at least 2 if not 3 gas refills a week with that torch and I've had it over a year.
Has I said is great for coils as you can adjust both style of flame and power. Ignition button on back , has a stand as well.
I would recommend these Tweezer's as well great for holding coils with when you squish them I have used thus with 0.21 mm wire coils no problem doesn't crush them.

Received one of these a few days ago, its brilliant and perfect for what we require!

My next FT order will include another just in case this one goes tits up,,,,,, £3.86 FFS.

I use one of these... it's a good soldering iron and has lasted a lot of (ab)use. Changeable tips for soldering, or torch with adjustable flame:
It's not cheap, but I'll be buying another when it gives up the ghost. This ones been going for 4 years or more, so it's pretty good value.

I had thought of this , but after having a Pro-Iroda ( the one I got in my original post ) I think their quality control is suspect to say the least , so I won't be getting one of these.

With gas products , I'll go with safety and then price , as long as it does the job.Once bitten twice shy and all that.

I'll buy nothing  from Maplin. Way, way overpriced on virtually everything they stock.

Hehe to be fair I've never tried it. The Mrs wouldn't be happy if I did and besides I'd have to buy her a new one.
