twisted micro coil

am finding that with the twisted coil i made yesterday, came out at .7 took bout 3-4 seconds to get all the coil glowing, so ripped it out and went back back to my boggo micro coil ish thing.

Ive just tried 3 different set ups for time geordie_vaper and can`t tell much if any difference in fire up time of 1ohm twisted vs 1.4ohm micro. .9ohm clapton is taking about 5 seconds from cold but its pretty good after that if you chain vape .

Well ive just had a go with some .35 twisted that turned up today from greyhaze.
What a waste of time. Had to make it on a 1.4 mm bit in order to get it to fit in the ceramic cup of my Eviva which came out at .4 ohms.
Result just takes an age to heat up and will kill the battery on my shark having to crank it up to 25w in order to get some heat out of it.
So if anyone wants 10m of .35 twisted kanthal drop me a pm as im sticking with my standard micro coils.

Don`t give up on it after 1 try @windows . Wack some in your erl . Loads of room too make something higher ohms . Got to be worth another go ?? I`m loving twisted.

Not a bad idea but might leave it to the weekend when I have more time.
Just got the hump as I broke a ceramic cup in my Eviva trying to get the bloody coil in.

I know. One minute it was fine , the next it was broke and I had juice everywhere I`m using the metal tank for now and it looks shit hot on the kato but I know at some point I`ll take a great big draw and vape my wick on a dry tank

The funny thing about me being mentioned in this thread too is that my main coil is a simple micro of the 20G (0.8mm) wire lol




With my modded tobh atty and this set up which is around the 0.09ohm area it's just an absolute GORGEOUS vape!

Funny you should say that, I used the same wire to make a spring for the pegasus mod lol, works excellent too
