Hi All. Been a vaping convert for approx 3 months having chomped my way through boxes of nic gum as well as 10 plus fags a day!!!! Love vaping but I'm a constant chuffer and am killing ego batteries every 6 weeks! I'm discharging them b4 charging and clean them b4 putting them on the charger. I can do a 650mah battery in a morning and they don't seem to last more than 6 weeks b4 their performance severely drops. I'm using a kanger protank 2 which I am happy with but not the battery life. Have I just been unlucky or is it my constant use they can't cope with........ Any advice / alternative set ups would be appreciated. Regards Nick

An I taste vv3 is 800mah battery so you'll get a wee smidgin more time out of it and you'll be able to control your Vape wattage. It will also work as a pass through device so you can charge and Vape at the same time. Depending on funds available. The Itazte MVP is a little box mod at a whopping 2600mah built in battery which would last just about anyone well over a full day. BUT non removable battery. Other than that just about any other variable wattage tube mod. Ie svd, vamo, sid, zmax provari etc all take replaceable batteries so you can have one ready in case you run low. Incidentally, an 18650 battery Max capacity is around the 2600mah anyway and will charge hundreds of times although you can't charge them whilst using them like you can with the vv3 and MVP ( the MVP does work as a power pack though so you can charge your mobile) It's up to you but I think you need to establish if you will be vaping and charging ( ie at a PC in an office) or not. If the latter then get something with a removable battery and get a couple. They do big egos! But you'll no doubt want to go variable voltage/wattage anyway.
Hope that helps.

Welcome along relayer Don't run them completely flat, depleting the charge can shorten their life spans and is not necessary as they don't suffer from memory effects like older batteries so charge them whenever you get the chance. The itaste vv3 tracerace1 linked is a good choice alternatively there's the spinners / ego twists but if you don't mind box mods and fancy getting a day or three out of one charge the Innokin Mvp 2 is well worth considering. edit: woo ruffdog beat me to it

Hi and welcome to AAEC.
I'll give you a few options as a next step, all variable voltage as this adds a whole new dimension to your vaping
1. Spinner/twist batteries - These are very similar to your egos, but a bit longer, and they have a dial on the end that changes voltage from around 3.3v to 4.8v so you can have a more or less powerful vape. They come in sizes up to 1800mAH or even larger in some cases.
2. MVP 2 - A cheap box style mod. Has great battery life and is variable lotage and wattage so you can control your vape. The down side is that some people dislike the box form factor and find it unconfortable.
3. Vamo - These are the same shape as a ego, but longer and fatter. You have the same VV/VW as the MVP2, but in a more familiar shape. These use changable batteries, so you need a charger as well.
All three are good options, just pick what you like the sound of most.

All great advice if you don't mind a box mod grab a MVP v2 I use one everyday great bit of kit and with a protank on it you'll be hard pushed to run battery out in a day very heavy vape session. I vape about 3 - 5 mil juice a day on the MVP using a nautilus or a kayfun lite and I only charge it every 2 nd evening great bit of kit. If you want something box form but bloody solid go for the vtr but you will need separate batteries a charger and battery case. MVP charge n go If you haven't already tried it get an airflow control for your protank will improve your vape a lot as well. myepack.co.uk/mods/itaste-mvp-v2-0-metal-grain.htmlmyepack.co.uk/accessories/airflow-control-valve.htmlOther vendors sell these as well check out the recommended vendors section on here. Also many have duscount codes .

Hi relayer to the forum.
Great advice above, I would also say the MVP at 2600mAh or a vamo which takes separate batteries would get you a Mod that would last the day out as long as you get batteries over 2000mAh for it.
Myepack is about the cheapest you will find and he has batteries and chargers that are suitable to use. Don't be tempted to buy trustfire of ultrafire they may be cheaper but they are crap, and there are lots of fakes around that wont even work when they arrive.

greetings and to AAEC relayer As a matter of interest, where have you been getting your Ego batteries from? Genuine or good quality batteries should last about 300 charges (depending on usage etc.) However if you have opted to use the "economy" path, then you have learned the first lesson of vaping MVP and Vamo are great options both readily available from trusted UK vendors as posted. But if you are of a patient nature, you could order from China and save a couple of quid. But you must be prepared to wait a week or two for delivery.

Welcome relayerAs some have said, fully discharging is not the best method. Anyhow..by the sounds of it, you need something bigger and better anyway. There are a few options, some of which are not that expensive either and with a battery that lasts longer and offers variable power, you'll be fixed up in no time. A 2,600mAh battery (Sony £8) in a Nemesis (£20 or 2nd hand even) with a cheap "kick" would do the job.
