Ive been looking at the vamos on fast tech and aliexpress, I realise they have to be clones at these low prices, has anyone got any experience with them, how safe are they?

My fasttech vamo is fine! I think some of the focal ones have possibly been suspect. I think they are ALL clones. Challenge you to find an 'original/genuine'! robby & ronaldo will know definitively.

I think with everything theres an original but the idea was probably well known and everybody jumped on the bandwagon. Maybe a prototype was seen by a few too many people and the various manufacturers ended up flooding the market so nobody will ever be able to prove a claim of being the first. Thats my opinion anyway and I await being shot to pieces.

KSD claim to be the first and nobody is arguing with them, when they came out they changed vaping forever, really brought quality vaping to the masses at a price they could afford

Yessss,I remember now, my first VV was a beaten up Lavatube that I bought on the forum here, still got it, the 510 is a bit knackered, but still fires

All i can add is that my itazte came from FT, seems genuine and still working after 6 months which is fine for a £19 mod. I think FT now put the word Genuine in add if it's not knock off, but i got knock off FT evods going great guns and a genine Protank thats between the sink and the bin.

I've bought two vamos recently, one fasttech and one from onestopmodshop. The fastteck one is this one. There are some major differences, 1. Different firmware versions. 2. The one from fasttech had much poorer pressfits on both sides of the control head. 3. Onestopmodshop vamo has better threading. 4. Fasttech vamo had spring loaded centre pin that failed in about one week (spring failed) 5. Buttons feel crisper on onestopmodshop vamo THe fasttech one I recieved may have been a one off poor instance, but from what I've seen, onestopmodshop offers a better model than the fasttech version I bought. p.s. This doesn't mean that the other vamos on fasttech are poor, just my experience with this particular model.

My vaporbreak vamo is still going strong. How comes no one ever mentions vaporbreak anymore?
Did they do something wrong?

I have an SS V2 from Fattech and an SS V5 from Focalecig and much prefer the FT V2, better menu, better buttons. A year old and no problems and if I got another it be an FT V2.
