Bulk Ordering - Eastmall

Hi everybody,

There was a suggestion yesterday that we band together and get a bulk order of items we need/want from Eastmall. Hence I've started a new thread for those that might have missed our initial chat.

I have volunteered my services to organise this.

My suggestions for how we go about it were for those interested to PM me with a list of what they require. Put your requirements in detail, with link if possible, so there is no confusion on my part about possibly ordering the incorrect item.
Also put your name and address at the same time.

I can then compile the bulk order and process it via their website as they take Paypal. I will pay for all of it, then when the items arrive, will sort out and distribute, enclosing an "invoice" of what each of you owes me. You can then either pay me via Paypal, cheque, bank transfer....whatever!

Please be aware that there may be customs charges involved here, so won't be quite as much savings to be had if that happens.

Eastmall charges in US dollars, so there may be some exchange rate differences from when you order via me, and I order via them, if you see what I mean.

Does all the above sound OK? Let me know if there is something I've not thought of.

I've heard that by early next week they will have some 901 LR atties listed (they only have 510's at the moment). So I'd certainly be interested in some of those, plus some other items.

I'm going to print all requests. I will wait till after the weekend to order, then most members will have a chance to contact me if they want to.

kath, im up for 901s either LR or normal attys, £10 or £40 would be great.
ideally £40 but if there are lets say 10 to 15 of us ordering that amount then the initial layout is a lot of money so maybe we can even the amount each out.
im also out of the country as of saturday evening, i should be able to login with my ipod while im there and still post here.

Kath, I'm with Raggy with this. I'm up for a few items but if it ends up being too much of an initial outlay for you I'm more than happy to to send a part payment up front or drop out if you get overwhelmed with folks taking up your very kind offer.

I didnt bother registering MM since Kath is doing the ordering, but i've ordered 5 LR atties, some ordinary 510 atties and some 510 cartomisers...

yes, they're good prices, maybe now's the time to try a 910 kit or a riva MM, so you don't have problems getting spares in the future...

even if we get stung by custom's, the prices are still way cheaper than UK...

MM, there are some good deals but they don't sell any spares for your Super-mini. So agree with Lilac, maybe this is your chance to try something new?
