ive tried all sorts in my clone and tbh its been like using silk cut when your a b and h man(chimney, twisted, parallel, duel and good old single miro coil with all sizes of wire) but ive had a eureka moment with it(stuck it lucky more like).5 wire on a 2.5mm bit at .5ohm and it kicks oh and ive played with the height of the coil as well now sat bang in middle of slots think im finally happy to take it out as my only atty

macmagoo If you haven't tried it yet give it a try yourself and see what you think I'm vaping a Rose V2 at the moment and the coil sits about 2mm from the air hole and there is very little throat hit with 12mg Digby's Apple & Cinnamon Pudding. The bottom part of the coil is a nats cock below the bottom of the wick cut outs vaping with house of liquid cinnamon cookie 12mg and plenty of throat hit, when i used less cotton and pushed the coil down just above the air hole the throat hit and harshness was to much. By the way i'm vaping on the rose v2 i bought from you mate and its great.

Struggling to get a great vape from the Rose, I'm probably doing something wrong. Have it set up with 0.3 kanthal 1.4ohms, the flavour is decent but I'm getting a better vape from my Kayfun. Would thicker wire be better for this atty? Really want to get this setup right, at the moment it's just ok. Any advice would be great.

What's poor about it, I found it easy to mount the coil too low and it really restricts airflow and vapour. Try lifting the coil a little by pulling it up gently with tweezers, makes a big difference for me.

I also use a 3mm diametre coil with doubled over Rico cotton, this gives four Rico tails and it's the perfect size for the Rose juice channels
