Jaki - yes, that all makes sense hunnie. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain to a numpty. Am having a better day today - albeit am only using James's vapes. I also took Buckowski's advice re: filling, and that has helped a lot too.
Day 12 - and still haven't lapsed. Very pleased with myself. xxxxxx

I'm finding with LR atomisers, the lifespan looks to be about half that of a normal atomiser. I've used 3 LR so far, and each one has lasted about a week, the power drops off noticably, then they're ready for the bin. That's still worth it to me. A weeks worth of very nice vaping at about £4.

I hope this isn't a duplicate but my internet was going down this morning when I (thought I) posted.
Where do you get your LR atties @ £4, Bucko? Do you buy packs of 5?

Can someone please explain the difference between an LR attie and.........whatever the other one is? I have the Riva, and am not sure what spares it would require.

LR atties have quite a bit more power than regular types. They're perfect on the Riva. Make sure they're 510 though, as there's a few different types of LR atomisers.
The only downside to LR atomisers is they tend to wimp off a bit quicker than normal atties. I've been getting a week out of mine. with a normal atty, I get about 2 weeks before the power drops off.
any type of 510 atomiser is ok to use on the Riva

Just to add a bit more to Bucko helpful explanation.
LR (Lower Resistance) atties, draw more power from the battery so produce more vapour & throat hit. Because they tend to burn hotter than normal atties, you do need to keep them a lot wetter & they will use more juice.
