As always, my rely is "Will the government compensate my family when I die of tobacco related illness because they banned the only products that could stop me smoking?"
What price a life? The resignation all of al involved MPs and their salaries and pension funds paid directly and immediately, tax free to my sons and wife.
Of course they will not agree to this, but will still pass crippling legislation to kill smaller vendors and manufacturers for two reasons .1 TO boos the income for pharma/tobacco corps which they have financial interest in and 2. To keep people paying crippling tobacco taxes to fund their junkets and free lunches.

Good innit? BT buy into cigalikes and then lobby against 'open tank systems' ... their competition.

I like this part - NOT:
"The firm argues that there's no way to safely regulate the liquid people are vaping or ban flavors that arguably appeal to kids. Disposable e-cigs, on the other hand, come pre-loaded so it's easy for a company to control ingredients and limit flavors."
What so that they can introduce all those other deadly chemicals that are in cigarettes.

I've been saying to people for months now what I think BT would do if they could, and that is to get rid of all e-cigs other than their own cig-a-likes and once that is done they'll then withdraw them from the market so that everyone has no other option than to go back to smoking to get their nicotine fix. Looks like they're already attempting the first stage of my prediction

It's a terrifying prospect.*
I, for one, hope the exact opposite is achieved over the next few years, with governments actually banning Tobacco companies from even selling e-cigs.
*The rationale is so selfish and completely immoral, that I hope anybody with an ounce of interest or power puts these greedy pigs back in the pen from where they came.
Even if it did happen, it would not take long for a non-tobacco company to come up with whatever product would be allowed under any law existing to compete with a BT e-cig product.

My thoughts. If the e-cigs we're using today get banned then they'll just go undergound. Government will then never be able to enforce controls (and taxes) on them. I feel they're here to stay - stop worrying, but don't stop supporting the campaigns
