my riva battery blew up!

went out tonight and put my battery on charge and it went very hot, like cant hold it hot, the button wont hold in and it nealy blew up i my bag! just spent a night with one spare battery and i tried charging it up, it went red hot like cant touch it,

I went to try and use it,though the plug showed red and then screwed an atomiser and the button didnt go blue and it totalltly died; 3 weeks use n feel cheated. I really felt like a fag but didnt give in but just one battery to vape > drunk , in control yet want fag whaaaa!

so did both your batteries go red hot when you tried to charge them ?
if so it sounds like your charger is shorting them out

ive no charger, only gone and lost it ahhhhhhh took it to my mates to charge up my riva, it went hot and wont work so had to splash out on new battery and then got ego kit, will riva battery work to charge this? proper pissed off! 3 weeks and knackered! and no ecigs cannot get back on nasties but with belly full of voddyits gonna be hard, really wanna cig but too stuborn to have one HELP! get me through this, love pissed and desperate xxx

that dont make sense ordered new riva battery and then thought use xams money and get a new set, so got ego will this work to charage rive............sad..........very sad........ cud kill for a fag! sad

no one battery F**ked up,it went really ho wont work thought it was gonna blow up went really hot battery cant touch it red hot! but then i only wet and lost lost charger so cant charge good battery on night out not not good, my dud battery press button not working only 3 weeks old and no charger really wanna fag now but cant im a month without. ordered a ego as amybe these are better but will my riva charge on charger; so sad:( and wanna fag missing my caramel dont want a fag but need summat!

oh no so you lost a battery and one is red hot ? so you dont have any batteries except the red hot one ?

I too have had very bad luck with those type batteries, although I love the size I have all but given up on them, asides from the cost, they almost left me without a vape which is not an option.
I have one VV 650 left which I expect to die at any time, no confidence in them at all.
I'm very happy now with battery tube mods and a little phone charger thingy with a 501 connector which is perfect for flights.
I've ordered the novelty key ring battery, but that's all I expect from it, novelty while it lasts.
Maybe time to consider moving on from those solid state type batteries as you enjoy vaping so much Jos' and don't worry if you do have the odd cig' to tide you over, it's not the end of the world and you'll soon be back on track.
All part of the journey, you'll get there in the end :-)
