Help with new mechanical mod please, no goer!

This is good to know. I have a question though, I was watching a couple of reviews today and one of the reviewers did not like the mod they were reviewing as the vent holes were at the top saying he didn't want it near his face? If the battery vents from the top and the gases would have a hard time going downwards due to swelling in the tube, is it therefore not better to have vents holes near the top. In total contrast, having vent holes in the top would send all the mentioned into ones face and that cannot be good?

Learning about mechs and batteries is no easy task and no. Atter how hard one reaches or asks questions, there are always oposing opinions

Yes, the consequences of it not being able to vent at all are much worse

ok ill try and put this as simple as poss
it dont matter what way up you run a batt in a mod unless its a nipple top and there is not enuff movement in the switch to clear the nipple this is when it will auto fire/fire all the time
i run my 69 mod with the batts up side down because of the small bottom pin that likes to distort the bottom of batts
sedatcinson who used to make trucks ran a possessive earth on all there trucks(ruddy confuseing when you 1st come across this but workable)

ok now for the batt not fitting the mod
do you still have the tiny ring that came with your nemi (about 5 mm high) and if so is it the same threading as your new toy because it would fix the problem maybe

What I don’t like about the JM22
The bottom contact that screws into the firing button does tend to get loose from time to time. The good thing about it is that it is super easy to tighten up – it uses a fairly large silver plated flat head screw that I can screw completely tight with my fingernail, so it isn’t a huge deal. I have noticed that most bottom firing mods have similar issues.

The jm22 clone is 20×1 threaded so you very well may find some of your other mod’s button or top caps will work on these tubes.. Can I just say again….VALUE!!
so the nemi ring should fit

Thanks for that decoy, I shall give that a go fingers crossed it may work. Do you have a JM22? What batteries do you run in them?
