It seems like all the flavours I like destroy my wick in hours. I'm constantly wicking, washing, dry burning, repeating. I guess its the sweetner's the likes of gvc have in?
Anyway I was wondering if there's some alternative to this madness. Would a genius rba be better? If so which?
Thanks in advance

If you are going through many different flavours then try a RDA Dripper, you can then whip out the cotton wick and replace in under a min. I'm pretty much 100% dripper user myself now + tank for out (although I took the mech with kick in 350 yestereve in the car to the beach and didn't even have to fill once "putting 15 drops in the dripper before I left"

I tend to do 30ml of one juice at a time so swapping isn't too much of an issue. Im really after something more consistent with some longevity.
How often do you have to re-wick an rba on average and do they give better flavour for custard/sweet juices?

+1 for RBA!! I have the same build with same cotton in my plumeveil for the past 6 weeks? And should I wish to change the cotton it would take me 30 secs. I only vape 2/3 juices so I switch throughout the day using the same cotton with no issue whatsoever. I vape around 20/30ml a day and it's still going strong with amazing flavour

go for a dripper, genesis attys tend to favour fruit and tobacco flavors since they are usially set up with mesh or ss rope, people will argue on this matter but for me a dripper will give you the best flavour out of any atomizer

I re-wick every few days if using the same flavor or don't mind just adding the next on top (which i don't and do do) I've left it much much longer too and it looks a bit ugly but actually seems to hold more and wicks better the older it is. (and taste better)

By RBA I meant RDA.
Drippers are soo easy to re-wick when they do require changing which isn't very often. With Genesis I had nothing but problem after problem and they are by far the most temperamental attys I have ever used.

Oh :-(
So with an Rda I presume you have to remove the top and keep dripping juice directly onto the wick?

I'm a genny vaper much less faff once mastered - which is much easier then some people say. I make the wick quite loose compared to what most vapers say they do. When it gets gunked, cleaning is - pull the wick out, wipe it on a tissue, dry burn the coil and brush the ashy stuff off with an inter dent tooth brush, replace the wick. Less than 2 minutes. I don't vape custard but most people say as Geordie SS is not as good with custard. I find it fine with chocolate fudge cake.
I've found thicker Kanthal and a nearly touching coil is easiest to avoid hot spots. I use .32mm in my mini gennys and .4mm in my standard DID. I have a strong flavoured RY4 which works best in the standard DID, everything else tastes better in small gennys. No need to pay big bucks, the AGT £20 and AGA S £10 from Vapegear are fine. The design of a genny is so simple I can't imagine how the more expensive gennys can be better.
A few things to bear in mind with a genny: A new wick takes 15 to 30 ml of juice through it to settle in Wicks last forever - the RY4 is my main all day vape, probably use it for 40% of my vaping. I bought the standard DID when they were on sale in January, it's still on its first wick. Gennys aren't fog machines - ideal if you vape a lot and don't want to get through gallons of juice.

Using cotton? Rayon's less prone to glooping up, and on a RDA in particular you can vape some liquid and swap to another completely different one and within a few toots the new one is all that's there. You can also wash it out under the tap between different liquids if you want. But with my username you might expect me to prefer rayon

Oh :-( So with an Rda I presume you have to remove the top and keep dripping juice directly onto the wick? Or straight down the drip tip... Hence "DRIP tip" If you have enough cotton in it then personally I can take 7/8 vapes before needing to re-drip
