This is possibly one of the worst times of the year to assess Chinese free shipping. After their holiday there is probably a massive backlog at customs/airport which can take weeks to clear, even to get scanned in

If comparing focal to the free shipping from FT then I seem to always get it quicker with focal.
Through with FT I use Swiss or the new "e-packet" which are pretty decent.

They're about the same. What makes a difference is whether the item is in stock and ready to go (not always easy to tell)
10-25 days is normal for either one.
You have to be patient if you are ordering from China

Using the new e-packet option on FT and I'm getting orders usually within 7-10days.
Swiss post is around 14days.

As mentioned, it also helps to know if the item is ready to ship.
If you don't always pay attention when ordering you can be waiting 4/5weeks and in reality it's only taken 2 weeks to ship to you, the other 3 was on FT waiting to get it in stock.

Or, do as I do and place the order! Then forget about it and you will be pleasantly surprised when it arrives.

Also makes it more fun when you don't have a clue what you have got till you open it
