Hi Guys I've been having a bit of a play around with the recipe cards and wanted your feedback... This is what I've done so far, opinions please? What are your thoughts on not having the nic base & PG/VG ratio line? I have a feeling that no one really uses that bit and it could cause confusion for new mixers, but happy to be proven wrong. Is there anything missing that you think would be beneficial to add? Cheers Lairey

Looks good. Only really needs concentrate % as everyone uses different ratios and nic anyway I would imagine?

agree, in fact that makes it simpler for beginners, as your own choice of pg/vg/nicotine strength shouldn't have any bearing when following a recipe. The important info is brand/flavour/percent, and they are very attractive cards lairey and looks matter to me

I'm aware that some members have noticed a flavour change in a mix when they drop down on nicotine percentage, and that pg/vg ratio can affect flavour....
but that's not going to make much difference as everyone has their own combination in pg/vg/nic. and everyone's taste is unique. A recipe is an individuals taste and is a good starter point for you to meddle and edit to suit yourself!

Agreed. I just don't think that stuff needs to be on the card. If your mixing 4/5 flavours, you should probably know what pg/vg/nic you want. nice stuff lairey!

I love the new look recipe cards you've created lairey. Don't think there's the need for further information on them, as we all use calculators to give the PG/VG/Nic Base ratios anyway.

Thanks lairey, brings my original cards bang up to date. The old cards are a bit plain and simple maybe, but they were done in a format in which I could bang out a whole load in a relatively short time. Even so, it took me a good three weeks to make them all up and couple them to the eJuiceMeUp cards too. I'm delighted that you've modernised the look, and whole-heartedly approve

Agreed - really nice.
Not sure about absolute exclusion of PG / VG ratio, though. The reason being that the creator of the recipe may have tailored towards, perhaps, high PG to loose some of the VG sweetness... What about showing along the bottom of the card something like "Makers PG/VG 65:35" in a smallish point size. But this is a small reason, very small, and the only one I can think of.... Unless others see value in the ratio, disregard.
Steeping time is a boon for any new mixer (I know that was one of my initial hangups). Inspired

Thanks guys, glad you like them. tomj777 If the recipe creator has any comments, I plan to do exactly as you suggested and have a 2nd line at the bottom with any comments/recommendations
