How does this work? Is it just allowing the liquids to mix over a period of time, or are there some other forces involved?

Yes . . . patience jevans. Mix and forget for a few weeks ( unless it's something like Red Astaire ) . . . it's as simple as that.

After mixing, give 'em a good shake, and put them in a dark cupboard or drawer. Give a good shake daily for the first week or so, then forget for another week or two. It's not an exact science, but the above works for me.

This voodoo pray to the vapeing gods and sacrifice a goat and your juice will steep well. Or you could let time do its thing. Essentially your allowing the liquid to combine on a molecular level. I tend to shake a fresh liquid for a good minute, then open and squeeze any air out and then let go so it gets new air in. Put in a cool dark place and shake, air daily for a week. Then depending on The liquid forget about it for a while. Fruity Vapes often only need a few days to a week, dessert Vapes a couple weeks to a month. Tobacco 2-6 weeks and custards I have one that is 6 months old and is only just coming into its own. Certain mixes like red Astaire and afro dizziac are good to go as soon as you have made them.

In brewing the god is Bacchus, I wonder which one it is in vaping?
Thank you for those timings igual, 90% of my juice is tobacco based so I've got some waiting to do.
What is "custard"? Is it a name for a type/group of juices?

Thanks gregb. Now the stupid question.....does it actually taste of custard? That's the idea, never been one of my favourite flavours personally but there are many custard geeks about. I'm sure Perpetua queen of the Custard geeks can tell you all you need to know should you wish to dip your toe into custard so to speak

Thanks gregb. Now the stupid question.....does it actually taste of custard? That is a great question. I love custard vapes, and it does taste of custard, sort of, but it does not taste anything like eating ambrosia from the tin, or birds from the packet.
It's custard, but not as we know it - jim lol.
