Is it possible to create a Coffee concentrate from instant coffee and PG? Or should I not be venturing into this field?

PerpetuaThanks for that link, I followed all its leads and noticed nobody had tried "Instant" coffee! Looks like I have my own experiment to do. Jim

Already started, but without immediate success. Will try it again in a week.

I did a lady grey tea infusion using the slow cooker a kilner pot and pg. Put a pint of water in slow cooker and a flannel on the bottom stood the kilnerbjar on flanhel , water came about half way up jar. Put contents of 2 teabags in and 30 mil of pg. Let it cook for 4 hours on low. Very very intense flavour. The test juice I made I used 10% flavour Probably only needed 4-5%.

I'm after the very strong black coffee taste, no milk, no cream, no sweetner no nothing!! 57 years of smoking have shot my taste buds, any recommendations?

Have you tried The Perfumers Apprentice Coffee (Kona) Flavour. Warning this is a tank cracker and a coil gunker and is very strong. I mix @ 5% and that is strong enough for me. I also mix less than 1% in hazelnut or walnut mixes to create a tobacco type flavour. I use it add body to some dessert type mixes as well. Some reviews @ Liberty Flights... www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=112

The doppio espresso is a really good, strong coffee flavour......with caffeine as perpetua says.....maybe try some of that?

I recently made my own coffee concentrate using ground coffee beans.
It wasn't awful but I won't be making it again.
Here is a video showing you how to make some using instant coffee.
