Ive noticed over the last few days ive developed a huge mouth ulcer on the back of my mouth and also I keep getting really bad indigestion, the kind like heartburn but in your back! I know all the extra eating and drinking doesn't help, but I notice it more when I am vaping menthol juices. Is this a coincidence or is it the ecig causing ulcers and indigestion?
I have read mouth ulcers are common after stopping smoking but just wondering if anybody else has had these? I am talking a huge, 1/2 pence size ulcer which is not at all painful!
Oh and guess what? i only went and dropped my keyring in the loo, it fell out of my back pocket! damn! though still got my other!!!

That's a blinking ratar%e dropping it down the toilet of all places :-(
Heartburn ohhhhhhh have I suffered with that, from about 5/6 weeks into vaping it started, really bad, my husband was constantly buying me every heartburn remedy out there and I was having to throw the stuff down my neck, I was drinking Gavison or whatever its called lol like pop, good news though Josie, it gets better, I think mine is the blackcurrant juice, which is such a shame coz I love it :-( at the moment I am sticking to RY4 and Ry H5 and it seems much better.
Mouth ulcers were another problem but not as big as yours, I would have lots of little ones, yours sounds very big :-(
I Hope things get better soon x

I get an ulcer if I vape too much or too high a strength. Try leaving your KeyRing in a warm place for a few days Josie (if you haven't flushed it away)

For the heartburn try kolanticon from the chemist and peppermint cordial..........far better than gaviscon. Hope it gets better soon.

I had really bad mouth sores and ulcers when I first started.
It turns out that I react to 100% PG liquids. I tend to get a PG/VG mix now. I still buy 100% PG liquids, but always add a few drops of VG to them. Not had any problems since.

I to have the mother of all mouth ulcers at the back of my mouth and it is really painful when I put my teeth together or chew, I put it down to a wisdom tooth I've got comeimg through but it looks like It could be vaping, I have been vaping a hell of a lot more over Xmas due to drinking alot more alcohol, also recently when I've been trying to get to sleep as I'm just nodding off this happens and all I can describe it as Is like my heart skips a beat and I forget to breath then gasp and wake up and everthings back to normal, this was happening when I started vaping but it went away after a few week so I didn't bother going to the docs,

It's often so difficult to say whether some of the symptoms some folks get when vaping are due to vaping, or due to giving up smoking. Plus add into the scenario that at this time of year, folks may be over indulging in eating less healthily & drinking more alcohol.
One very common symptom of giving up smoking (& nothing to do with vaping) is bleeding gums.

What about the gasping chrissie? Have you heard of it at all? I googled it and it pops up on a few different forums but the threads just stop prematurely with no outcome to what happened or if it was due to vaping or not

Sleep apnoea and/or sleep paralysis. I get it sometimes just the way you describe, Don, but years ago when I was on valium long-term it was dreadful, used to even hallucinate with the sleep paralysis (I didn't find out what it was until decades later). I wouldn't worry if it doesn't happen too often. The excess Xmas alcohol may be to blame
