Hello people. I have been vaping for around 8 weeks now. Long enough to learn a couple of things (Mostly expensive lessons) but still pretty green and wet behind the ears. I am using a T3D BDC clearomiser and an aspire BVC Clearomiser on a spinner II VV battery. I still cant decide which one I prefer so any thoughts are most welcome Anyway it's payday tomorrow and I am seriously considering having a bash at mixing my own juice. A quick turn around Google brought me here and there is some fantastic info here so I thought I had better join up Does anybody have any advice on starting out mixing? Is one of those starter kits worth buying or am I better off getting separate stuff? Is there anything I should really REALLY avoid? Thanks for reading and for any comments you feel like leaving Rughead121 Easy as 3.14159265358979323846

rughead121 welcome to the forum from me, thereis a mixology section on the forum that really is well worth reading. Personally I have several syringes of different sizes (ebay) pg and vg (ebay again, company called classic kool) nic base loads of suppliers but uk flavours getting a lot of positive reviews. Concentrates hundreds, ltecigs good, uk flavours good, t juice good, chefs vapour good, really decide what you want to go for and ask questions on here, lairey and Perpetua are the mixing guru's and will always help

You rang? Hi rughead121 and to AAEC The kits are a great way to start off. Not the most cost effective way of buying, but separates will always work out cheaper in anything. The advantage of a kit is that you will be able to get pretty much everything you need in one go, then just replace the components as they run low. Great list of vendors above from prr, you should add Justvape247 to the list. To get started, you will need the following... Nic Base PG VG Flavour concentrates Empty bottles Some way to label your bottles A selection of different size syringes Recipe calculator - I use eJuice Me Up but there are plenty of others around. In addition, you may want to consider the following... Blunt needles Gloves Measuring beakers The main things you will need to remember are... Peace and quiet (nothing worse than being distracted and not being able to remember if you have added a particular ingredient) Keep a note of your recipes, either by saving them (eJuice Me Up allows you to save them on your PC) Patience for steeping (some flavours benefit from up to a couple of months) And there are very few awful mixes that can't be made at least vapeable with the addition of some menthol or aniseed Don't be afraid to ask any questions and take your time. Once you have a couple of mixes under your belt you'll realise how easy it is

rughead121Some people prefer to buy a mixing kit to get started, although it works out more expensive. Any questions pop them on the mixing thread, and we will all point you in the right direction.

rughead121 and don't expect me to give answers, I'm still happily vaping with the basics... but as you've already discovered there are many members here that will help you. I just love 'hanging about' here.
