Personally i use these pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=361061558471&alt=web as they are Sony vtc 4's underneath. Not in stock at moment. Also to add because these are basically stacked batteries always use the same 2 together in the mod and charge them together. I have 2 sets just for the sigelei 100w.

Personally I would go with Sony VTC3, VTC4 or VTC5s. The ones you have are pretty good, but I`d go for the extra current handling of the Sonys, getting hard to find at a good price though.

They are as they have stopped making them i think robby. The xtar i linked above are vtc 4's re wrapped for xtar.

But will the efests have problems? Should we use protected batteries when they are in series?

Looking at the link you posted thebatfink, 3100mah is surprisingly high for a 20A battery. You should always keep them as a pair and charge them as a pair. Mark them clearly with permanent ink marker. You dont use protected batteries in 100Watt mods. They wont allow the current flow required

I use vtc4s in one of mine, and keep power inrs (2500mah) in my other two.
I'd say the inrs slightly edge it for me.
