UKecig store: Arghhhhhhh!!!!!!

my experience ordering online with all other retailers:
-find product, check in stock, order and pay
-receive confirmation email of sale, and then dispatch email
-receive goods
-have a good ol' vape

MY EXPERIENCE OF UKECIG STORE:
-find product online and try to understand stock level...title says 'pre-order' but also says 'in stock' in lovely green for go ahead letters near quantity box...so lets order. Admittedly I ordered late on monday night, so didn't expect immediate delivery...probably tuesday, yeah

-get paypal confirmation, but no confirmation from store..ok, maybe in morning when they get it..

-tuesday morning, still no confirmation email...well maybe just got lost in the netherweb somewhere

-wednesday...still nothing...call store,  told product out of stock, will be in thursday morning so delivery before weekend...not ideal but ok

-friday..still nothing, no email, no product. Ring again, get patronized by surly northern bloke who could not seem to care less about my problem..managed to prise for refund...told that would receive a confirmation email of refund later in day........

-later in day no email, ring again...assured by nicer person that refund was 'in process' and email will be produced to confirm

-sit with clenched fists and hope my money will be returned this side of the century

Got my Vapourshark from them (only site with stock at the time) no problems. Ordered Sunday received Tuesday.
Would loved to have ordered from one of the regular suppliers on here but no stock.

Just a word of warning there are several reports on the web that the Sony VTC5 batteries they currently have in stock are not genuine, I don't know if they are or not, but would advise waiting until independent confirmation. I know one person on UKV has sent their ones to Torchy for testing, but have not seen an answer as yet.

A lot of conflicting info. They ARE official AW battery dealers, yet show a pic of fakes. Soooo the pic of the Sonys can't be trusted.

If anyone has VTCs from here can you post pics so we can clear this up once and for all??

There are some here and I have seen other threads questioning them, but no conclusive proof as it is possible that Sony have change the appearance although very unlikely.

2 things have stayed constant with the VTC5s. The base, and the way the top is crimped. Wrappers have changed tho yes.

ETA: Cross post. That UKV info is bang on  Darker printed 3D barcode and the raised base is a dead giveaway. What's not so obvious is the top crimp. Should appear to be two THIN lines, not one THICK band.

Ive never seen so many horror stories about one vendor.

I have never and will never use them.

I'm sure some get away with an ok service, but if you ever have something go wrong for you, you have no chance. fingers crossed for you shez

Personally speaking, I am happy for at least some mud to be slung in their direction. This is more than just liking or not liking. Many Vapers have lost MONEY and GOODS using UKecigstore.

and to think..... there they were at Vapefest, cuddling up to the newbies. Effectively the main attraction and sponsors.

I thought we were in this together?
