Ooo love the Greek language but over the years I've only learnt a couple of words and a couple of phrases. My Greek vocabulary : kalimera, kalispera, kalinikta, yamas , parakalo and epharisto. Also mia bira parakalo and isi poli el kistakos or something like that. I reckon I could get by drinking beer in Greece somewhere miltiades . Rice pudding sounds lovely. Just made a pot lastnight with some cinnamon. Yum. Let us know how you get on

Can't give you any better links miltiades . . . but I would suggest using any milky flavour concentrate sparingly. They can ( and do! ) taste very unpleasant if you're a bit heavy handed with them.

Hello to all.
Hope you all getting ready for XMAS and New Year!
Trying to explain my method a bit and then the problem i'm facing. Any feedback much appreciated.
Method: As the aroma and the flavor i'm trying to recreate is complex and ingredients are dominant I've decided to create each flavor separately and then mix it all together after finding the best possible flavor for each ingredient and then trying to mix those flavor into one recreating the chemistry and balance that i wish to achieve.
So I've created a set of 16 different 60-40 vg/pg mixes (4 per each ingredient) separately trying to find the best balance per ingredient.
For each test i'm leaving the bottle open into a dark and warm place for 24 hours and then trying every day to see what happens.
The problem : For 5 days now i'm noticing a very chemical and sharp(but not pleasant) flavor.
You believe i'm doing something wrong? maybe the flavors aren't good (it seems unlikely to have 4 flavors from 2 different companies)? Maybe the steeping process?
Many thanks in advance:)

What types of flavours are they miltiades? Fruits? Desserts? Some types of flavours need steeping for much longer than others? Is this for your rice pudding type juice? If so, I'm guessing most of them are creamy, dessert type flavours, in which case they will need a few weeks steeping time, rather than a few days

The problem : For 5 days now i'm noticing a very chemical and sharp(but not pleasant) flavor. I'd be inclined to just leave all your mixes well alone for a couple of weeks miltiades, to give the ingredients time to blend before you try them again. The type of flavours I think you're using do improve given some time. Snap lairey!

Hi guys. as i've read that my initial recipe contains ingredients that are difficult. i've decided to use some seemingly more easy on the start for tests. So my flavors are : apple , cinnamon , mastic(a local ingredient very strong) and lemon The rice pudding recipe i leave for the time being in my mind only after i learn the process better and feel confident to try with creams , etc. Perpetua. i thought of that reading various posts. Though the taste from day 1 to day 5 is exactly a copy of previous day. Meaning a very bad experience. lairey. Should i leave the mixes open to breath or closed? i'm leaving them open for the time being.

Have to had a taste of just your PG and VG and does your nic base smell ok? It should have a slightly peppery smell, but not overpowering... what colour is it?

The nic base is PG the one , and 50-50% the second , though i've used it with concentrate and it's fine. I bought another base to verify that , so it's not the problem. The same with VG i bought two different bases to minimize the risk of stacking to a bad quality batch.
The recipe is calculated via Ejuice me Up.
For Apple flavor base: 50-50% pg/vg here , Nicotine strength 20mg , target 6 mg. Flavor 3% as the production company says.
Nicotine base 9 ml pg/vg (30%) PG 9.6 ml (32%) VG 10.5 ml (35%) Flavor 0.9 ml (3%)
All the amounts are measured with an electronic scale i've found in offer recently.
The other recipes are about the same , flavors mixed from 2% for the strongest and 4% for weakest.

a very chemical and sharp(but not pleasant) flavor. In my experience this is usually one of two things. Too little steeping time or too much concentrate.
