Lilac - you probably posted it somewhere, or Bucko did, but 1) is the Mako the one for which there was a new video to watch? 2) Where did you buy it from? 3) How much was it? That should keep you occupied for half-an-hour answering that lot!

Bought it from Smokejuice... www.smokejuice.co.uk/userimages/procart31.htmIt was £60 + £1.14 P&P The video was for the Megaladon, which is due out in a few weeks, but uses the same top & bottom part as all the Mako's, so just need to buy the sleeve, batts & charger for it...

Thanks Lilac - look forward to hearing what you think of it. I shall definitely have to get a second one of something. Couldn't stand it if my Riva gives up, or I run our of spares etc. Belt and braces stuff required.

Got my Mako it's brill, i love it... got one battery on charge, while i'm using the other... loads of vapour....one question, Bucko, the inside of the threads at the attie end were really dirty, so i gave them a wipe, then thought it might be that stuff that Chrissie mentioned, to give a better connection...? anyways, i've cleaned it off and it's fine, lol haven't tried the adaptor for 510 atties yet, i will later Edit....just tried the 510 adaptor which i already had and it works, does make the Mako a bit longer tho, so if i was gonna use 510 atties on it a lot, i'd prob invest the £10 and get the Smokejuice one

I can't remember if the threads on the atty were dirty when I got it, i don't think so mind. I use a bit of tissue to clean inside there, as I do drip a lot these days as opposed to using carts, and the juice does get in there, but it's easily removed. Glad you're enjoying it, It's my favourite. Using the same atomiser on each of my e-cigs, the Mako always comes out best, it's a nice full on vape. Gob fulls of vapor I tend not to use LR atomisers on mine, as it doesn't need it, a normal atty on the Mako is enough power.

Well, still loving it... re the LR atties, i did find them a bit too much...i think too much vapour doesn't agree with me, thats why i hardly use my pass through... It defo feels more powerful than the Tornado, and the SD when it was performing well....but slightly less so than the LR atties just perfect for me, in other words.. one thing i've noticed tho, is that when i've locked the button to put it in my pocket, sometimes when i unlock it, it doesn't fire, not sure why, but i think it's more me than the Mako, will practice a bit more

Yes Lilac, I'm glad you think it's too powerful with LR atties, so it's not just me that's a wimp I use my LR atties on the Tornado/riva, that gives a comparable vape to the Mako with normal atties. It took me a while before the button locking thing registered, I'm sure you'll get it sussed. If you get stuck or think something is wrong with it, you can always call Tim from smokejuice, his number is at the top of his website. I've just called him, left a message as he was on busy. My button needs some attention, its working ok, but its starting to become a bit sticky. When it was new, it was so smooth, so I guess its just some kind of lubrication needed.

Hello lolli Using the same atty/liquid between the Tornado and the Mako, you can notice the difference. The vapor feels smoother and more full when it's in ya gob. Not sure how or why this is. I'm no technophobe on these things, but its just a more 'luxurious' vape to me. That's not to say the Tornado's crap, far from it. I've just bought a Riva set to take on my hols with me tornado's - spares aplenty. I know they'll not let me down, very reliable, and with LR atties for them, I'll be more than happy with them. Just don't want to take the Mako outa the house, its too precious

YW Bucko. The Noalox goes a heck of a long - you only need to use a tiny smidge at a time.

Lolli...been thinking whats the best way to describe to you the difference between the Mako and the Tornado/Riva.... ok, here goes, bear in mind tho, that this is just my take on it... think of ecigs on several different levels... 1. Basic ecig....901, 510, etc......great vape for maybe 2 or 3 hours at the most, and that's with new batts, once mine were a few weeks old, they were only great for about an hour...then tailed off for maybe another 30 mins before i'd feel the need to swop to a fully charged one... 2. Tornado/Riva.....great vape for most of the day, right to the end of the charge..... slightly better power than freshly charged 901/510 batts, but lasting a whole lot longer... 3. SDmarkl......At it's best, which for me, was less than 50% of the time, at it's worst, i'd rate it lower than the basic 901... 4. I'd put the Mako here.....More powerful vape than the Tornado, etc, and according to Bucko, the batts last for the whole day, mine is certainly still going strong since this morning, and i'm still using it straight from the cellophane packet it came in, so presumably was charged in the factory..... 5. Tornado/Riva with LR attie, passthrough's, etc......5v or near vape..... To sum up, i found i didn't enjoy the passthrough that much, same with the LR atties....it was just too much of a good thing......okay now & again, but defo in moderation..... the Mako, at least so far(am a bit wary cos i loved the SD at first, till it started playing up) is perfect for me, in fact, i think i've found 'THE ONE', my forever, don't need any other......PV
